NEW YORK, Oct. 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Sententia Capital Management, LLC and its affiliates (collectively, "SENTENTIA" or "we"), the beneficial owners of approximately 8.8% of the outstanding shares of common stock of Schmitt Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: SMIT) ("Schmitt" or the "Company"), announced today that both of Sententia's nominees, Andrew P. Hines and Michael R. Zapata, were elected to the Schmitt Board of Directors according to the certified proxy voting results from Schmitt's 2018 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
