Hi,
Kurs ist besser als die Presse. Oft genug denke ich darüber nach, ob das Lesen und Übersetzen (mit Google) überhaupt Sinn macht.
Ich fühle mich mehr und mehr als Spielball anderer Strippnzieher in USA.
Shares of the mortgage-finance company have plummeted in recent weeks. As of Wednesday, the stock was at less than $1.50, more than 50% below its 52-week high.
Wednesdays close at $1.47 is the lowest the shares have traded since October 2013. Pershing Square founder Bill Ackman disclosed his fund had taken just under a 10% stake in Fannie and mortgage sibling Freddie Mac in November 2013.
Particularly striking is that the shares have dropped so far with no obvious catalyst. The last time the stock was in this neighborhood was October 2014 when a federal judge threw out a lawsuit filed by investors.
Perhaps investors are no longer as enamored with the fact that Fannies shares have caught the eye of marquee investors. Those bright lights have definitely dimmed.
