Zum Stand 30.12.2021 lag Steinhoff auf Platz 238. Aber wir wissen alle, was um den Jahreswechsel los war. Die Situation hat sich gerade mit der Vorlage einer testierten Bilanz deutlich verändert, hinzu kommt am 15.02. der vollständige Abschluss des Global Settlement. Entscheidend ist, welche Werte die Aktie zum 28.02.2022 erreicht.

Ich will hier auch keine Träumerei schüren. Ich sage nur: Der 3. März ist das Datum, an dem entschieden wird, und Steinhoff dürfte zu den heißesten Kandidaten zählen. Ich habe nicht die Erwartung, dass es sofort klappt. Aber ich halte es auch nicht für komplett unrealistisch.

Dann lassen wir uns doch mal positiv überraschen...

Aber hier werden oft Erwartungen geweckt hinsichtlich gewisser Ereignisse, die allzu oft zu Enttäuschungen führen und dann geht's wieder abwärts.

Zum 3.märz u SDAX: Spekulationen dazu wird es bereits 1-2 Wochen vorher in der Presse geben.

Das ist sowas von lächerlich. Jeder der mit Aktien handelt, sollte in der Lage sein, eigenständig das Regelwerk für den SDAX zu durchforsten und dann sein eigenes Urteil zu treffen, ob Steinhoff in den SDAX kommt oder nicht. Da gibt es eigentlich nichts zu diskutieren.

... und würde dem Kurs der Steinhoff-Aktie vielleicht für einige Anleger etwas mehr Sexappeal geben. Was aber ETF's angeht, würde dies nicht wirklich viel bringen, denn es gibt nur zwei ETF's auf den SDAX mit einer Fondsgröße von zusammen nur circa 166 Mio. Euro.

Bei insgesamt 70 Aktien im Index kann man sich überschlagsweise leicht ausrechnen, welche Summe diese beiden Fonds bei einer Indexaufnahme in SH investieren müßten. Diesen Betrag kann man fast vergessen. Also lieber noch ein Weilchen warten und dann hoffentlich irgendwann - per Fast-Entry - wieder zurück in den MDAX ;-)

Zum M-DAX müßte sich der Aktienkurs - nach der Marktkapitalisierung betrachtet - nochmal mehr als verdoppeln oder gar verdreifachen. Nach erfolgreichem Step2+Step3 und weiterhin guten Geschäften mit allen Töchtern könnte dies allerdings irgendwann durchaus wieder möglich werden:

Greenlit Brands and Fantastic Furniture have overcome “the ongoing headwinds of Covid-19” to deliver strong growth last year, according to CEO Michael Ford.

“The progress we made against our strategic priorities, and the strength of our balance sheet gives us much confidence as we continue to invest and grow our businesses,” he said, releasing the results of the two businesses of Steinhoff International’s Asia Pacific operations.

All of the businesses within the group were both profitable and cashflow positive, reflecting a significant turnaround from the preceding years.

Combined group revenue for the year to December was $1.3 billion, up 8.6 per cent year on year, despite Covid lockdowns impacting store trading hours in both Australia and New Zealand. Online sales surged 17.7 per cent to reach $295.8 million.

Combined EBITDA before extraordinary costs reached $107.3 million, an improvement of 15 per cent over 2020.

Ford, pictured above, said the e-commerce boost reflected the company’s execution of a contemporary, digital-first strategy across all of its brands.

Both Greenlit Brands and Fantastic Furniture ended the year debt-free and with cash reserves of $198.3 million, while the sale of Plush Sofas to Nick Scali resulted in gross proceeds of $110.6 million subsequent to the financial year-end.

Ford said that while Greenlit Brands remained financially independent from its troubled South African parent group Steinhoff International, there was “no deadline for transacting the remaining Australasian businesses”. Meanwhile, the company would continue to implement strategic initiatives and invest in its brands and people, while evaluating strategic options and opportunities.

“The financial and operational strength of Greenlit Brands, underpinned by our suite of iconic brands, all of which are profitable and cash-flow positive, puts us in a strong position to maximise value for our shareholders. We are not in a rush to transact our businesses,” said Ford.

“We continue to evaluate opportunities from a position of strength.”

Provision – SRF cost contribution17The Group established a new Dutch foundation, the SRF, on 24 August 2021, together with supporting arrangements in South Africa (for South African claimants). The purpose of the SRF is to administer and distribute the settlement consideration paid by, or on behalf of, the Group and other contributing parties. It is governed by a board of newly appointed directors with majority independence from the Group. Claimants are required to submit their claims for verification prior to receiving settlement payments. The SRF has retained Computershare to assist it to administer and verify claims prior to payment of the settlement consideration. The Group will contribute up to €16.5 million to cover the costs of the SRF. This value excludes any additional cost contributions to be made by other parties (i.e. Deloitte firms and D&O insurers) as disclosed in the Steinhoff N.V. Composition Plan. Any costs incurred by the SRF in excess of the cost contributions, will be deducted from the settlement fund, and any surplus cost contribution amount will revert to the parties that have paid such amounts to SRF, pro rata to the cost contribution of each such party. During the 2021 Reporting Period the Group contributed c. €2 million towards costs incurred by the SRF, which amount will be deducted from the anticipated cost contribution, as provided. Fair value adjustment – Synthetic Forward19Steinhoff Africa agreed to pay a portion of the Litigation Settlement Proposal provision on behalf of Steinhoff N.V. As a result, Steinhoff Africa has during the 2021 Reporting Period entered into forward exchange agreements with multiple banks in order to hedge against the foreign currency risk.

100 Millionen sparen wir dort. 1190 Millionen sind doch unsere Zinskosten gewesen.  Bei 10% aktuell und vielleicht 5% in der Zukunft,  sparen wir nochmal ca 595 Millionen,  also insgesamt 695 Millionen.  Also nicht mehr weit entfernt vom Turnaround in die Gewinnzone. Bei weiteren Wachstum sollte es zu schaffen sein. Gerne weitere Hinweise dazu, und ob meine einfache Schulrechnung überhaupt richtig ist. Danke an alle für die Infos im Voraus!

Die Aufwendungen für die Vergangenheitsbewältigung lagen im letzten GJ bei -827 MioEUR (GB S. 91 - Pkt 4.2). Da fallen noch weitere Einmaleffekte neben den Anwaltskosten mit hinein. Diese Position sollte in diesem Jahr GJ bereits geringer sein und in Zukunft hoffentlich ganz wegfallen. D.h. SH könnte bereits dieses Jahr einen Gewinn ausweisen.

Der Kurs sinkt seit 3 Tagen und ich denke das hat auch seinen Grund.
EK ist bei - 5 Milliarden Euro angekommen damit hätte keiner gerechnet.
Zinsen immer noch bei 10%. Wieso sollte der Kurs steigen ?

die Rechnung würde stimmen wenn SH alle konsolidierten Firmen gehören würden zu 100% und diese nicht eigenständig an den Börsen gelistet wären ! Deswegen ist die Rechnung völliger Quatsch, ich äußere mich jetzt aber nicht mehr dazu........es langweilt !
