Range Resources Ltd (the "Company") has applied for admission to trading on AIM
of 20,765,389 of the new shares with an expected admission date of 31 January
2011. The company will apply for admission to AIM of the balance of the
shares, being 11,654,844 shares, with and expected admission date on or
around 11 February 2011.


I must say that I forgot the date of admission myself.
It would explain so many buys and a static price.

aber nach 100% ists mir ein wenig zu heiss. Vor allem, wenn die Aussies nur kaufen, aufgrund des Ordervolumens an der AIM.

An der AIM wurden wieder 100m Aktien gehandelt, mit minimalem Verlust.
Sehr erstaunlich und ein äußerst stabiles Teichen nach diesem starken Anstieg.
Die shares scheinen in stärkeren Händen zu sein.
Es gibt Übernahmegerüchte...
Montag schätze ich als Schlüsseltag ein.
Da wird die Richtung der nächsten Tage bestimmt.
Fakt ist, dass endlich diese krasse Unterbewertung aufgelöst ist.

Mir gefällt vor allem, dass man von puntländischer Seite den Leuten von AfricaOil die Pistole auf die Brust gedrückt hat. Die müssen jetzt in Puntland bis Juni bohren, und bis September die zweite Bohrung ansetzen, sonst ist die Lizenz und deren bereits investierten Millionen futsch...;-)
Das Kann noch spaßig werden. Ich bin gespannt, was mit dem Kurs passiert, wenn AOI konkrete Meldungen bringt.
Wichtig zu wissen, dass Range auch in Georgien, nicht als Operator tätig ist, sondern auf die Handlungen des Partners angewiesen ist.

Wenn alles positiv weiterläuft kann dieses Jahr noch der Euro drin sein.

Am Sonntag wurden die Arbeiten an Russel Bevly/Texas bereits begonnen.
Ich rechne damit, dass wir Ende der nächsten Woche die neuen Produktionszahlen erhalten...

Lets start with NCR.
Russell Beverly 20% interest - fraccing in progress to open up the pay zone from 11 to 130 feet (4 levels) results imminent.
Smith1 25% interest - to be fracced after RB.
Albrecht 20%interest - to be spudded March/April.
Value to Range - approx $248mill - increasing

East Cotton Valley
Ross1 21.75% interest - to drill 1st horizontal drill, expected spud April.

Triniadad and Tobago. Currently in partnership with Monitor (ASX:MON)
Range hold 10% (although these figures may change in favour to Range)
Engaged in programme to increase production from 700 bbls/d to approx 4500 bbls/d from the 3 sites.

Georgia - Blocks VIa and VIb.
Interst 40%, Partners - Strait Oil 40% (private), Redemperor 20% (ASX:RMP)
6 ready to drill targets - value to Range 390mbbls plus cost recovery.
Speculation is that as Strait having acquired Block VIII may invite Range to farm-in (possible 24b bbls) as Strait have a member on the board of Range.
Mobilisation and 1st spud to take place in the coming weeks. Site yet to be identified by Range as they have controlling interest.

Puntland, areas Dharoor and Nugal.
Interest 20%, Partners - Africa Oil 45% (Controlling interest) (TSX:AOI), Redemperor 20%, Lion energy (ASX:LIO) 15%
Targets attributal to Range- Dharoor 1.68b bbls and Nugal 2.48b bbls.
1st spud to be Dharoor by end June and 2nd (area to be announced) by end Sept.

Auffällig: der wievielte Tag mit Schlusskurs 16.25p war das heute?

Eine Erhöhung des Anteils beim Trinidad-Projekt könnte tatsächlich Realität werden.
MHL versucht seit Monaten das Kapital für deren ursprünglich geplanten Anteil von 90% an diesem Projekt zusammen zu sammeln...Jetzt wieder mal Suspension an der ASX.
Range hat volle Kassen...;-)
Wenn der Anteil von 10% auf 30% erhöht wird,wäre das wirklich richtig genial...!

MHL wird Trinidad nicht finanzieren und hat die Bestrebungen heute Nacht aufgegeben.
Das verzögert Trinidad sehr wahrscheinlich, wird jedoch Range einen wesentlich höheren Anteil ermöglichen...;-)

Kann's ja dann doch nicht sein.

...für Leute, die nur von 12 bis mittag denken, trifft das zu.
Wie auch schon bei der Threaderöffnung vor 300%, muss man ein wenig die Birne anstrengen und überlegen, welche Entwicklungenmanche Entscheidungen nehmen können.
Danach muss man dann die Eier in der Hose haben, zu investieren.
Wer beides nicht hat/kann.......


Zu dem massiven Kurseinbruch!: (ironisch)
es besteht der begründete Verdacht, dass Range Kapital einsammeln wird um den Anteil bei Trinidad aufzustocken. Meinetwegen können die bei 12p eine Kapitalerhöhung machen.
Trinidad wirds hundertfach zurückzahlen...

Es ist schon richtig das man die Eier haben sollte...... Aber sollte Trinidad noch länger brauchen, und sollte Range zusätzlich Kapital aufnehmen obwohl sie ja so flüssig sind, wird der Markt es nunmal mit gleichbleibenden bzw leicht!! Sinkenden Kursen quittieren, was ist aber eigentlich mit Georgien.

Having gone thru the RNS, apart from the obvious, there are some real juicy bits in there that in my eyes have implications:

1) ECTV drilling started (RNS expected to confirm success and/or flow rates)

2) Successful Frac of Russell Bev (RNS expected for flow rates to be confirmed once production stabilsied)

3) Ross 3H - this well will be the Company's first horizontal well and first in the shallow oil prospect, which covers approximately 1,570 acres and encompasses a recent oil discovery. (Is this actually a live test for Georgia - the characteristics and timing certainly fit, excellent management if it is)

4) Ross 3H - the Ross 3H well would provide an immediate increase to the
Company's oil reserves, production and cash flow, with the impact to reserves to be reported at a later date. (So impact to reserves too, another rns can be expected)

5) Ross 3H - If successful, the Ross 3H well will trigger a multi-well program which is anticipated to move Possible Reserves into the Probable and Proved categories. (Further news triggering rns could be expected)

6) Equity drawdown = £5m drawndown. What for? is it connected to T & T??? (T&T news still expected, which would be anoter rns with hopefully more stake added)

Some food for thought;

1. ECV making good progress having spudded four days ago, is
encountering shows mid progress, TD soon to be reached
2. Fraccing successful in two of four zones at NCR with well flowing
to plan, crews to return shortly to fracc remaining two zones
3. New well logistics underway for third spud in NCR before end Q2.
4. Georgia drill program locked in with operator publishing timetable
to spudding in April. Three stages of deployment, first stage over
water transport and logisitc 20 days, overland and associated
logistics 20 days, engage rig at location, engineering/setup prep for
spud say 10-15 days, then spud 10 april (ish)
5. This matter of other blocks dealt with.......
6. AOI engages operator with possibly two rigs on the hop (just a
thought and entirely plausible depending on what manner the operator
is engaged.
6. Trinidad deals closed with Range taking a much larger stake, with
cash from raised Dutchees/options conversion and other avenues. Range
could end up with 25-35% of deal with production and cashflow to the
account of the JV forthwith.
7. This other deal that is circulating in my head just won't go
away........could be good for the mind and body.
8. Market considers all the above and the future significant cashflow
and valuation scenarios/implications and

The stock is significantly re-rated and under sustained and heavy
buying pressure establishing price support in a new range north of
30p.

50p becomes the new target as we near spudding in April.
