subsidiaries, "Northland" or "the Company") announces changes to the
Company's management team.
Northland Resources is making changes to its management team in
connection with the previously announced organizational consolidation to
Norrbotten.
- Now that we've taken the step of moving Northland home to Norrbotten,
including the relocation of most managerial functions, it is a natural
time to make several changes to corporate management. This is also a
reflection of Northland's migration from project to operations during
the past year. There will now be a strong team in place to lead
Northland, said Peter Pernlöf, acting CEO.
The following changes are effective immediately:
· Jonas Lundström is now Senior Vice President - Environment, Health &
Safety and Corporate Communications, which henceforth includes Investor
Relations
· Hans Nilsson is now Vice President of Marketing & Logistics
· Eva Johansson is now Vice President of Human Resources
· Johan Dagertun is now Deputy COO and Vice President of Business
Development
No other members of the management team are affected by the changes.

Northland is a producer of iron ore concentrate, with a portfolio of
production, development and exploration mines and projects in northern
Sweden and Finland. The first construction phase of the Kaunisvaara
project is complete and production ramp-up started in November 2012. The
Company produces high-grade, high-quality magnetite iron concentrate in
Kaunisvaara, Sweden, where the Company will exploit two magnetite iron
ore deposits, Tapuli and Sahavaara. Northland has entered into off-take
contracts with three partners for the entire production from the
Kaunisvaara project over the next seven to ten years. The Company is
also preparing a Definitive Feasibility Study ("DFS") for its
Hannukainen Iron Oxide Copper Gold ("IOCG") project in Kolari, northern
Finland and for the Pellivuoma deposit, which is located 15 km from the
Kaunisvaara processing plant.
