In Europa beginnt k+s neue Preisverhandlungen Ende September. ICL/Amfert erwartet, dass die Preise in europa um ca. 5% steigen.
Ein paar Zitate:
K+S Kali has made new sales in Brazil recently
and will be shipping a total of 60,000t of mostly
granular MOP in two vessels, loading September
and/or early-October. The price is understood to be
around the established $1,000 pt cfr.
SOUTH AFRICA: There are preliminary reports that
K+S Kali has made, or is about to make, its price
proposals for MOP and SOP shipments under
allocation in the fourth quarter. Figures of around
€750 pt cfr for MOP and €900 for SOP have been
mooted, currently equivalent to $1,065 and $1,280 pt,
respectively, but do not specify the grade. Another
unconfirmed report suggests that standard MOP
would be at €730 ($1,035) pt and granular at the €750
figure.
....PotashCorp in particular is very short: In a presentation
to analysts in New York, the CFO Wayne Brownlee is
understood to have said that PotashCorp alone only had
75,000t of inventory in North America at a time when
there should have been 1 million tonnes. No wonder
PotashCorp has bought some material from BPC for the
US market (perhaps 20-25,000t). He added that potash
producers are unable to supply 8-10% of world demand
this year, or a total of 3 million to 4 million tonnes, mainly
for China.
