30 Meters of 0.11% U308 Discovered at Two Time Zone

--------------------------------------------------

Highlights
Higher grade intersection of 30m of 0.11% U3O8
Wide zone of uranium mineralization intersected - 107m of 0.052% U3O8
Highest grade intersection to date - 3m of 0.312% U3O8 including 1.19% over 0.4m
March 1, 2007, Bridgewater, NS / Vancouver, BC. - Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSXV: SSE) and Universal Uranium Ltd. (TSXV: UUL) are pleased to announce that continued drilling at the Two Time Zone, located on the CMBNW claim block, to the east of Snegamook Lake in central Labrador, has further defined the wide zone of uranium mineralization intersected in the December diamond drilling program. Results have been received from one new drill hole, and the extension of another. The new hole, CMB-07-6, gives the highest grades and thickest widths discovered to date.

The drilling targeted a radioactive anomaly, the Two Time Zone. The best mineralization was located in DDH CMB-07-6 drilled under DDH CMB-06-5 at a 50 degree dip, intersecting the zone between 150m and 200m deep. This hole intersected 107m of 0.052% uranium oxide (U3O8) from 172m to 279m, including higher grade zones: 0.11% U3O8 over 30m from 172m to 302m including 0.312% U3O8 over 3.0m from 172m to 175m. This is the deepest intersection to date and indicates that the zone may be increasing in size and grade to depth. The host for the mineralization is an altered, brecciated and fractured felsic intrusive, monzonite to monzodiorite, which carries extensive chlorite, carbonate and hematite alteration.

"We are very excited by this new discovery," stated Lloyd Hillier, President and CEO of Silver Spruce. "These results further indicate the potential presence of a large economic uranium deposit on our ground."

At the start of the 2007 drill program, DDH CMB-06-5 was extended 85.4m from 140.2m to 225.6 m. Uranium mineralization was located in the interval between 170m and 195m giving three zones, two grading 0.02% to 0.03% U3O8 and the third zone graded 0.088% U3O8 over 3.4m from 180.8m to 184.2m.

The uranium zone appears to be near vertical to steeply dipping to the east at 75 to 80 degrees, indicating that drill intersections are probably one half to two thirds true width.

The zone has been traced over a 200m plus strike length from Line 1+25 N where CMB-06-2 gave 71.5m of 0.015% U3O8 to Line 0+50 S, where CMB-06-5 gave 59.2m of 0.024% U3O8. It appears to narrow to the north, where CMB-06-1 gave 15.8m of 0.033% U3O8. Stronger mineralization is located in the southern portion of the grid where anomalous soil geochemistry indicates the zone may continue under a small pond. A total of five shallow holes at -45 degrees dip, totaling 812m, tested the zone in December. The two holes reported on in this press release bring the total drilled to 1257 m in 6 drill holes. Diamond drilling is continuing and further results will be released as received.

Selected analytical values for the sections sampled are shown in the table below. A plan map of the drilling, plus a section through DDH\'s 3, 5 and 6, are shown on Silver Spruce\'s and Universal Uranium\'s websites.

All core showing significant scintillometer values was cut and analyzed. No samples were taken from CMB-06-4 since scintillometer values were low and felsic/mafic units were interfingered. Core samples were halved by sawing on site, with one half sent for analysis and the other half retained for further study. Analyses were performed by Activation Laboratories in Ancaster, Ontario, an approved, accredited laboratory, using the delayed neutron activation technique, which gives accurate results for samples carrying up to one percent uranium.

Potentially Undervalued?

Silver Spruce is focused on advancing their large and diversified uranium properties in Labrador. The spot price for uranium over the last two years has increased by 300% due to increased energy demands and the lack of new uranium production. This has compelled junior explorers such as Silver Spruce to again focus on new areas of discovery. The CMB is one of the world's premier emerging uranium districts thought to contain hundreds of millions of pounds of uranium (U3O8).

Silver Spruce is still in its early stages with more milestones to achieve, but based on the work of similar companies in the CMB, the future looks bright.

Silver Spruce Resources Inc. Adopts Shareholder Rights Plan

--------------------------------------------------

Bridgewater, Nova Scotia - March 19, 2007 - Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSXV: SSE) ("Silver Spruce") is pleased to announce that its board of directors has approved the adoption of a shareholder rights plan to be effective as of March 16, 2007. The rights plan is designed to encourage the fair and equal treatment of shareholders in connection with any takeover bid for the outstanding securities of Silver Spruce.

In approving the rights plan, Silver Spruce intends to: provide shareholders and the board of directors with adequate time to assess any takeover bid; consider alternatives to a takeover bid as a means of maximizing shareholder value; allow competing bids to emerge; and provide shareholders with adequate time to properly assess a takeover bid without undue pressure. Silver Spruce's board of directors is not currently aware of any pending or threatened takeover bid for Silver Spruce. The rights plan is similar to plans adopted by other Canadian companies and ratified by their shareholders.

Under the terms of the rights plan, one right will be issued by Silver Spruce in respect for each outstanding Silver Spruce common share at the close of business on March 16, 2007, and in respect for each Silver Spruce common share issued thereafter. The rights issued under the rights plan become exercisable only if a person or entity acquires or announces their intention to acquire 20 percent or more of the common shares of Silver Spruce without complying with the permitted bid provisions of the rights plan or without the approval of Silver Spruce's board of directors.

Should such a situation arise, the holders of rights (other than the acquiring entity or related persons) can purchase common shares of Silver Spruce at a substantial discount to the prevailing market price (as defined in the rights plan) at the time the rights become exercisable.

Although effective as of March 16, 2007, the rights plan is subject to ratification by Silver Spruce's shareholders at Silver Spruce's annual and special meeting of shareholders currently scheduled for April 16, 2007. If ratified, the rights plan must be confirmed at every third annual meeting thereafter. If not ratified at the meeting of shareholders scheduled for April 16, 2007, the rights plan and all of the rights outstanding at that time will terminate. The rights plan is subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals.

A copy of the rights plan will be available on SEDAR and can also be obtained from Silver Spruce upon a written request.

Highlights

- Wide zone of uranium mineralization intersected -- 147 m of 0.041% (0.82 lbs/ton) U3O8
- Higher grade intersections -- 11 m at 0.11% (2.2 lbs/ton) and 7 m at 0.12% (2.4 lbs/ton) U3O8

April 11, 2007, Bridgewater, NS / Vancouver, BC --- Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSXV: SSE; Frankfurt: S6Q) and Universal Uranium Ltd. (TSXV: UUL) are pleased to announce that further drilling at the Two Time Zone has expanded the wide zone of uranium mineralization reported in the March 1, 2007 press release. The second phase of drilling consisted of six holes totaling 2,442 meters and the results indicate that the previously discovered zone is potentially much larger than originally anticipated. A total of 3,254 meters have been drilled since December 2006.

The phase two drill program targeted the Two Time Zone, a radioactive anomaly located on the CMBNW claim block, to the east of Snegamook Lake in central Labrador. Drill hole CMB-07-12, which targeted an area 50 m below the wide mineralized intersection in CMB-07-06 (107 m of 0.052% U3O8), intersected 147 m of 0.047% U3O8 including two intersections grading over 0.1% U3O8 : 0.11% over 11 m and 0.12% over 7 m. These mineralized intersections are the deepest to date and indicate the zone has good continuity to depth. Mineralization is hosted in an altered, brecciated and fractured, felsic intrusive of monzonitic to monzodioritic composition which carries extensive hematite, chlorite, and carbonate. The zone appears similar to large, iron oxide copper gold (IOCG) style, uranium rich, hematite breccia deposits such as the Olympic Dam deposit in Australia, the world's largest uranium deposit.

"We're excited by the wide mineralized intersections," stated Lloyd Hillier, President and CEO of Silver Spruce. "These latest results indicate the likelihood of an extensive, large, uranium deposit in the area."

The Two Time Zone has been traced over a 300 meter plus strike length, by prospecting and near surface drilling, from the cliff (discovery) zone near 2+75 N, through CMB-06-1 at 2+25 N, which gave 15.8 m of 0.033% U3O8, to CMB-06-2 near 1+25 N which gave 71.5 m of 0.015% U3O8 to 0+50 S, where CMB-06-5 gave 59.2 m of 0.024% U3O8. It appears to narrow to the north, based on the results from CMB-06-1 but remains open. Two holes in the second phase drilling, CMB-07-10, located 75 m to the north of CMB-07-06 and 12 near 0+25 N, intersected 35 m of 0.026% U3O8 including a 4 m section of 0.104% U3O8. DDH CMB-07-11, also on 0+25 N, which targeted the zone 50 m below CMB-07-10, intersected a 35 m zone giving 0.034% U3O8, but was terminated at 298 m just prior to intersecting the higher grade, main target zone, due to unfavorable ground conditions.

The zone appears to be near vertical to steeply dipping to the east at 75 to 80 degrees, indicating that drill intersections are probably two thirds true width. Further infill drilling is required to accurately determine the true width of the zone.

Modeling of the drill hole data with Surpac Xplorpac shows the uranium zone has excellent strike and depth continuity and is open along strike and to depth. It also indicates a number of dextral, normal faults that have offset the zone along strike, including to the south where DDH CMB-07-7 did not intersect the mineralized zone although it did encounter uranium values (5 m of 0.061% U3O8) in a fault/shear structure. The mineralization appears to be stronger in the southern part of the zone, where it appears to be offset to the west. Anomalous soil and lake bottom geochemistry indicate the zone may continue to the south under a small pond.

A possible mineralized zone has been located approximately 2.5 km to the east-northeast of the Two Time zone by prospecting. The HF occurrence, an angular boulder giving a value of 0.114% U3O8, was located in a stream just below a pond during the fall prospecting/stream sediment sampling survey. Gridding and ground follow up is planned for this area as soon as field conditions permit.

A detailed lake sediment sampling survey is being carried out on the CMBNW property during the winter. This survey is designed to better localize anomalous areas for ground follow up in the summer program. Results will be released when they are received.

As a result of the positive results from the Phase II drilling on the Two Time zone, the JV partners have called for bids for an 8,000 meter drill contract to further define the Two Time Zone along strike and to depth. The drilling is also planned to allow testing of other areas of mineralization as they are defined, such as the newly discovered HF occurrence to the northeast. The drilling is planned to begin in late April to early May. In addition, line cutting, geochemical, geophysical, geological mapping and prospecting surveys will begin as soon as conditions permit, to aid in the delineation of the Two Time zone and other undiscovered/unevaluated zones in the area.

Selected analytical values for the drilling are shown in the table below. A plan map of the drilling to date, a section through DDHs 5, 6 and 12, and a plan showing proposed work areas on the CMBNW property for the summer of 2007 are shown on Silver Spruce's and Universal Uranium's websites.

Drilling to Resume at Two Time Zone, Minimum 8,000 Metre Drill Contract Awarded

--------------------------------------------------

 Exploration Update
- Drilling to resume on Two Time Uranium Zone in early May
- Lake sediment survey completed on CMB NW property
- Lake sediment survey begins on Jacques Lake property

April 25, 2007, Bridgewater, NS / Vancouver, BC. - Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSXV: SSE) and Universal Uranium Ltd. (TSXV: UUL) are pleased to announce a minimum 8000 metre contract for diamond drilling on the Two Time Zone. The contract has been awarded to Lantech Drilling Ltd. of Dieppe, New Brunswick and mobilization to the CMB NW property is planned for early May. Lantech will use an "LDS-1000" drill rig with a depth capacity of 900 metres, to test the extensions of the Two Time Zone along strike and to depth. The definition/infill drilling on the Two Time Zone will target the known mineralization and give an indication of the size and grade of the zone. Drilling will also be carried out to the north and south of the zone along strike.

Two previous drilling campaigns on the Two Time Zone, in December 2006 and February 2007, intersected uranium mineralization in 11 of 12 drill holes and outlined a significant mineralized zone. This zone, which remains open along strike and to depth, was traced for 300 metres and to a depth of 250 metres. The zone had values of 0.11% U3O8 over 30 metres within a wider zone of mineralization containing 0.052% U3O8 over 107 metres (refer to news release dated March 1, 2007). The uranium mineralization is hosted in an altered, brecciated and fractured, felsic intrusive, of monzonitic to monzodioritic composition, which carries extensive hematite, chlorite, and carbonate. The zone appears similar to large, iron oxide copper gold (IOCG) style, hematite breccia deposits, such as Olympic Dam in Australia, the world's largest uranium deposit.

Ground geophysical, prospecting and mapping surveys will be completed over the property mainly to the south of the Kanairiktok River. Work will commence once the snow melts and cut control lines can be established. In addition, proposals for a uranium ground survey (RadonEx), have been solicited for the mineralized area and along strike to both the north and south. The RadonEx survey is one of the most efficient ground radon surveying system available, with results available within days of planting the collection cups. "The new drilling program will move us closer to proving the presence of a large economic uranium deposit," Lloyd Hillier, President and CEO of Silver Spruce states. "In addition, the use of new exploration techniques such as the RadonEx survey, will give us the best and most efficient methods of evaluating our uranium properties in the CMB."

A detailed lake sediment sampling program has been completed over the entire CMB NW property, to follow up on the original government widely spaced, lake sediment anomalies. A total of 278 samples were collected and will be sent to Activation Laboratories in Ancaster, Ontario, to be analyzed for uranium content by delayed neutron counting (DNC) and other elements by inductively coupled plasma (ICP). Results will be reported when received. Detailed lake sediment sampling on the Jacques Pond claim group located adjacent and to the north of the Aurora Energy Jacques Pond property, will begin this week.

Third Phase Drill Program Starts on CMB NW Property

--------------------------------------------------

 - Drilling resumes at Two Time Zone, minimum 8,000 metre contract
- Lake sediment survey completed on Jacques Lake property

May 15, 2007, Bridgewater, NS / Vancouver, BC. - Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSXV: SSE) and Universal Uranium Ltd. (TSXV: UUL) are pleased to announce that the minimum 8,000 metre contract for diamond drilling on the Two Time Zone has begun. Mobilization to the site by the contractor Lantech Drilling Ltd. of Dieppe, New Brunswick, was completed on May 12 and drilling began on May 13.

The drilling is designed to test the Two Time Zone to depth and along strike with the aim of defining a uranium resource by late summer. Infill and definition drilling at 50 metre centres will define the size and grade of the zone while drilling to the north and south along strike will determine the extent of the zone.

Two previous drilling campaigns on the Two Time Zone, in December 2006 and February 2007, intersected uranium mineralization in 11 of 12 widely spaced drill holes outlining a significant mineralized zone. The zone, which remains open along strike and to depth, was traced for 300 metres and to a depth of 250 metres. Values of 0.11% U3O8 over 30 metres within a wider zone of mineralization containing 0.052% U3O8 over 107 metres was located (refer to news release dated March 1, 2007).

"This third phase drill program will better define the Two Time Zone, and potentially allow us to build a National Instrument 43-101 compliant resource by late summer," stated Lloyd Hillier, President and CEO of Silver Spruce Resources.

A detailed lake sediment sampling program has been completed on the Jacques Lake property to follow up on the widely spaced, lake sediment anomalies originally defined by government surveys. A total of 234 samples were collected and have been sent to Activation Laboratories in Ancaster, Ontario, to be analyzed for uranium content by delayed neutron counting (DNC) and other elements by inductively coupled plasma (ICP). Results will be reported when received.

The CMBNW and Jacques Lake properties are located in the Central Mineral Belt of Labrador, and lie along strike, and in proximity to, properties held by Aurora Energy Inc., Crosshair Exploration and Mining and the Santoy/Monster Copper JV. The CMB is one of the most active uranium exploration areas in Canada, driven by the success of Aurora Energy on its Michelin and Jacques Lake deposits, where approximately 100 million pounds of uranium have been defined (Aurora news release, February 13, 2007.)

Silver Spruce Drilling at Mother Lode Gold Property

--------------------------------------------------

May 23, 2007, Bridgewater, NS--Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSXV: SSE) is pleased to announce that it is drilling a minimum 700 metre program on the Mother Lode gold property, located on the Burin Peninsula in southeastern Newfoundland. The drilling began on May 10th and should be completed by the end of the month. The property was optioned by Silver Spruce in January, 2006 (see news release dated January 6, 2006). Silver Spruce can earn a 100 percent interest in the property, subject to a two percent Net Smelter Return.

Silver Spruce's main focus continues to be uranium exploration in the Central Mineral Belt of Labrador. The company is currently completing an intensive exploration program including: a minimum 8,000m drill program that will lead to the company's first-ever uranium resource calculation.

Prospecting, geological mapping and grab and float sampling of mineralized, altered units at Mother Lode have given sporadic gold assays with values varying from non detectable to 25 grams per tonne. Hand-trenching in 2004-2005 and excavator trenching of altered outcrop and soil anomalies in 2006 resulted in the discovery of altered zones within the volcanic units carrying gold values in disseminated sulphide mineralization. The trenching confirmed earlier grab sample assays and resulted in the extension of known mineralized zones. Mineralization grading from anomalous (a few hundred ppb) in the sheared, mineralized units to 6.39 g/t over 2.4m in boudinaged, interflow iron formation was located. Assays were generally in the hundred ppb to one to two grams per tonne gold over widths from one to two metres maximum.

The drill program is designed to evaluate the mineralized zones utilizing short holes to test the down dip/plunge extent of mineralization. A number of longer, 250m holes, will test the possibility of structurally repeated intervals at greater depth in the main area of the grid on the Turpin Zone. Gold is associated with fine to very fine disseminated pyrite mineralization (up to 15%) in sheared and altered, chloritized, sericitized and silicified volcanic units.

The host rocks are mafic volcanics, gabbros and volcaniclastic sediments of the Burin Ultramafic Belt, which have been sheared and altered over an area of approximately 200m across strike and 300-400m along strike. The mineralized zones are boudinaged, dip steeply to the northwest and appear to plunge to the southwest, possibly controlled by strong isoclinal folding. No drilling has been carried out in this area prior to the Silver Spruce work.

Mineralized intervals will be sawed and one half of the sample shipped to Eastern Analytical Laboratories, in Springdale, NL for analysis for gold by fire assay, using a one assay tonne sample and 30 element ICP analyses. The other half of the sample will be retained for further study. Results will be reported as received.

This release has been approved by Peter Dimmell, P.Geo., Vice President of Exploration, who is a Qualified Person (QP) as defined in National Instrument 43-101.

Mr. Gordon Barnhill of Silver Spruce reports

SILVER SPRUCE RESOURCES INC. AND UNIVERSAL URANIUM LTD.: DETAILED SAMPLING DISCOVERS HIGHLY ANOMALOUS LAKE SEDIMENTS ON CMB JV PROPERTIES

Silver Spruce Resources Inc. and Universal Uranium Ltd. have provided the results of detailed lake bottom geochemistry surveys on the CMB NW and Jacques Lake properties, part of the CMB joint venture.

The results indicate significant uranium anomalies on both properties. The CMB NW block returned values ranging from background (less than 17 parts per million (ppm)) to 374 ppm. Two significant anomalous areas were defined. The first area lies south of the Kanairikotok river and extends from the Near Miss showing continuing northeast to encompass the Two Time zone and HF occurrence. The highest values, ranging from 6.5 to 374 ppm with six values greater than 100 ppm, are located further to the northeast in an unexplored area. In comparison, lake sediment values in the area of the Two Time showing, where drilling has defined an extensive zone of uranium mineralization, ranged from 9.8 to 44.9 ppm. The second area of anomalous samples was located to the north of Snegamook Lake, in the northwest portion of the property, with values ranging from 5.4 to 258 ppm and three values greater than 60 ppm. In this area, an additional 56 claims were added to protect the anomalous area as it is located near the boundary of the pre-existing CMB NW property.

At the Jacques Lake property, values ranged from a high background of approximately 30 ppm, to 217 ppm. Two anomalous areas were defined. The first area lies to the north of Jacques Lake in the central/northeast portion of the property with values ranging from 14 to 207 ppm and 17 values greater than 50 ppm. The second area is located in the northwest corner of the property with values from 27 to 217 ppm and two values greater than 100 ppm.

Lloyd Hillier, president and chief executive officer of Silver Spruce, states: "The results of the lake bottom sediment sampling on the CMB NW block indicate the potential for continuity between the three known mineralized zones and the likelihood that mineralization may continue northeast to an unexplored area. We are also encouraged by the results from the Jacques Lake property and are optimistic that more uranium mineralization will be located as the summer work program continues."

Samples were analyzed at Actlabs in Ancaster, Ont., by delayed neutron counting (DNC) for U and an ICP technique for other elements, the same techniques used in the government surveys that led to the initial staking of the properties. Government background uranium values for the area are less than 10 ppm. Plan maps of the lake sediment results for uranium are available on Silver Spruce's and Universal Uranium's websites. Results for ICP remain pending.

This release has been approved by Peter Dimmell, PGeo, vice-president of exploration, Silver Spruce Resources, who is a qualified person (QP) as defined in National Instrument 43-101.

Silver Spruce Announces Results of Lake Sediment and Prospecting Surveys -- Straits Property

--------------------------------------------------

August 23, 2007 - Bridgewater, N.S. - Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSXV: SSE) is pleased to announce that it has received the results for lake sediment and prospecting surveys carried out on the Straits Property, located in southern Labrador, to the north of the Straits of Belle Isle.

A total of 219 lake sediment samples were acquired covering the entire claim group, including the 1,320 new claims announced in the news release of June 14, 2007. The mean value for the lake sediments is 28 ppm U, with the highest value, 639 ppm, located in the northeastern part of the group. Excellent correlation is shown with the more widely spaced government lake sediment values which prompted the original acquisition of the property.

Three anomalous areas are defined. The strongest, with values from 42 to 266 ppm U and a number > 100 ppm, is located in the central portion of the claim group, developed along a northeast trending structure with offsetting northwest trending structures, over a seven kilometre strike length. A total of 16 rock samples were taken from this area with nine giving values > 100 ppm. Two of the samples had values > 0.1% U3O8 and a high value of 0.16% U3O8 . The WD showing is located within this anomaly. It is a cluster of large boulders of orthogneiss / paragneiss showing strong uranophane staining within a 600m to 800m long radiometric anomaly which gave values from 92 to 1,391 ppm (0.14%, 2.8 lbs/ton) U3O8, with three of four samples > 400 ppm.

A northeast trending zone in the northeastern part of the group gives values from 15.5 to 639 ppm U. This area includes the Henley Harbour area where an 800m to 1,100m radiometric anomaly gave values of 439 ppm and 384 ppm U3O8 from two rock samples. Host rocks are aplites, mafic intrusives (gabbros), gneisses and pegmatites.

In the western portion of the group, a linear, north-south trending zone gives values from 10.6 to 125 ppm. The LP showing, a large, irregular, pegmatite dike system which can be traced for a few hundred metres and which gives erratic values (10 samples), varying from 38 ppm to 2,650 ppm (0.26%, 5.2 lbs/ton) U3O8, with 6 samples > 100 ppm and two > 0.2% U3O8 is located in the northern portion of this area.

Prospecting (78 rock samples) was carried out on the original 896 claim (22,400 ha or 224 km2) block in follow up of the airborne survey carried out in 2006 on 21 airborne radiometric targets. The targets were selected on the basis of the 95th percentile of U/Th ratios (U minimum 14 ppm). Three areas of mineralization were defined giving 36 values greater than 100 ppm (0.01%) U3O8 including nine values > 500 ppm (0.05% or 1 lb/ton) and four values > 0.1% (2 lbs/ton), with a high value of 0.26% U3O8. Uranium / thorium ratios were good (minimum of 3 to 1) in most areas although some areas of high thorium values, with low U/Th ratios were located.

The rock and lake sediment samples were analysed at Actlabs in Ancaster ON, for U by delayed neutron counting (DNC) and an ICP technique for other elements including Th. This technique was the same technique used for the government lake sediment surveys which led to the staking of the properties. Results for the ICP for the lake sediments remain pending.

Lloyd Hillier, President and CEO of Silver Spruce comments "We continue to be impressed with the results of our surveys which indicate that significant, previously untested, uranium potential exists in this part of Labrador. We look forward to continued follow up and the delineation of a uranium resources."

Maps showing a plan map of the lake sediment and rock sample results, and a plan map for airborne targets are available on the company website at

Third Phase Drill Program Intersects 17m of 0.109% U3O8

--------------------------------------------------

 Highlights
Drilling intersects 17m of 0.109% U3O8 (2.18 lbs / ton)
Widest zone of mineralization located to date in drilling - 199 m at 0.026% U3O8 (0.52 lbs/ton)
Two Time Zone strike length extended to 425m
New mineralized areas located in float and outcrop with values to 0.93% U3O8 (18.6 lbs/ton)
Radon Gas (RadonEx) surveys show significant potential mineralized zones
August 30, 2007, Bridgewater, NS / Vancouver, BC. - Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSXV: SSE) and Universal Uranium Ltd. (TSXV: UUL) are pleased to announce further results of the continued third phase drilling at the Two Time Zone and prospecting and Radon Gas (RadonEx) surveys from the CMBNW claim block in central Labrador.

Results for holes CMB-07-15 to 20 are reported. The new holes continue to expand and define the mineralization, along strike and to depth. The best values were: CMB-07-16 - 192 m from 256 to 448 m, assaying 0.022% U3O8 (0.44 lbs / ton) including 9 m from 286 m to 295 m at 0.127 (2.54 lbs/ton); CMB-07-18 - 17 m from 211 m to 228 m at 0.109% U3O8 (2.18 lbs / ton); and CMB-07-19 - 199 m at 0.026% U3O8 (0.52 lbs / ton) including 4 m from 299 m to 303 m at 0.129% U3O8 (2.58 lbs / ton). The drilling was targeted to test the Two Time zone at depth to the south.

Mafic dikes disrupted the mineralized zone in hole 15, which tested the zone at a vertical depth of 250 m under hole 14 on Section 0+00. The hole stopped in the mineralized zone due to bad ground conditions. Hole 16 tested under hole 12 on Section 0+75 S, at a depth of approximately 250 m. It intersected a wide, lower grade section with narrow higher grade zones and included mafic dike from 311 m to 329 m. Holes 17-19 were drilled as a fence on Section 1+25 S, 50 m to the south of drill holes 5, 6, 12 and 16, on Section 0+75 S, to test the southern extension of the zone from approximately 150 m to 250 m vertical depth. All of these holes intersected wide zones (90 m plus) of lower grade mineralization in the 0.02% to 0.03% U3O8 range with higher grade intersections including 17 m of 0.109% U3O8 in Hole 18. Hole 19 which gave the widest zone of mineralization to date, 199 m of 0.026% U3O8 was stopped while in mineralization due to mechanical difficulties. Hole 20 was drilled to the west to test for a possible western offset to the Two Time Zone mineralization. It did not intersect any significant radioactivity and no samples were taken. Drilling is continuing.

"We continue to be excited by the mineralization that we are finding on the CMBNW property," stated Lloyd Hillier, President and CEO of Silver Spruce. "Ongoing results indicate the strength of the uranium mineralizing system and the increased potential for a large uranium deposit on the property."

The zone has been traced over a strike length of approximately 425 m from 2+75 N to 1+50 S and it remains open. The host for the mineralization is an altered, brecciated and fractured intrusive, monzodiorite to diorite, with extensive chlorite, carbonate and hematite alteration. The orientation of mineralization in the Two Time Zone appears to be near vertical to steeply dipping. An estimate of true widths cannot be established at this time.

RadonEx radon gas surveys have been utilized to trace uranium mineralization on the CMBNW and Snegamook properties as a guide for exploration. The non-invasive RadonEx technique uses a computer chip based radon detector which is buried in the earth in the morning, recovered in the late evening and then read in the night to give results immediately. The technique, which relies on Radon gas escaping from buried uranium mineralization, was tried on the Two Time and Near Miss showings in the early summer as an orientation. Both surveys detected and traced the mineralization giving confidence in the technique. The survey has been successful in defining a trend of radon anomalies, thought to represent uranium mineralization, along the Two Time area and these anomalies are being tested by drilling.

The surveys have also shown a number of other mineralized structural trends, particularly an east-northeast (ENE) trending zone, to the south of the Two Time on the Snegamook property, which remain to be tested. This survey has located significant anomalies, some much larger and stronger than the anomaly over the TT zone. Prospecting, guided by the RadonEx surveys, has located significant mineralization along these trends.

In the prospecting surveys, 76 rock samples taken from float and outcrop with scintillometer readings from a few hundred to > 10,000 cps have been analyzed. Of these, five gave values > 0.5% U3O8 (10 lbs / ton) and 31 gave values > 0.1% U3O8 (2 lbs / ton). The majority of these samples were taken outside of known mineralized areas and represent new areas of significant uranium mineralization. Most of the anomalous samples are associated with major east-northeast (ENE) or north-northwesterly (NNW) trending structures, the most significant of which is a 12 km long east-northeast trending suture which extends from the Near Miss showing across the Snegamook property, approximately 2.5 km south of the Two Time zone to the area of the highly anomalous lake sediment values noted in the news release of June 26, 2007. The uranium values are hosted in hematite bearing breccia zones close to the trace of the structure and in pegmatitic zones to the north of it. Another area, trending ENE and giving values up to 0.93% U3O8 (18.6 lbs/ton) in float boulders and 0.4% U3O8 (8 lbs/ton) in outcrop is located in the southeastern portion of the group. These samples are generally hematite breccias and are related to alteration (carbonatization, chloritization) in the host units. The Near Miss Showing, located in the southwestern portion of the Snegamook property, gives values from 78 to 5000 ppm (0.008% to 0.5%) U3O8 in rock samples from outcrop and also shows good coincidence with RadonEx radon gas anomalies. It has not yet been drilled. Other rock samples have been taken and submitted to the laboratory. These results are pending.

Analyses were performed by Activation Laboratories in Ancaster, Ontario, an approved, accredited laboratory, using the delayed neutron activation technique, which gives accurate results for samples carrying up to one percent uranium. Selected analytical values for the drill holes are shown in Table 1. A revised plan map of the drilling, a compilation map showing the RadonEx anomalies, the anomalous rock sample values and the associated structures plus a more detailed map showing the RadonEx anomalies in the Two Time Trend area, are shown on Silver Spruce's and Universal Uranium's websites.

Silver Spruce Resources -- Labrador Inuit Land

--------------------------------------------------

September 14, 2007, Bridgewater, NS - Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSXV: SSE) responds to concerns brought forward by the Nunatsiavut Government (News release of September 7, 2007) regarding mineral exploration by companies on Labrador Inuit Lands (LIL) as reported in the CBC news stories on September 12, 2007.

The CBC news stories gave the impression that Silver Spruce's work on exploration properties in Labrador would have to cease due to permit problems with the Nunatsiavut Government. This perception is incorrect. Problems were incurred when preliminary exploration (prospecting, stream sediment sampling, line cutting and baseline environmental studies) was carried out on Labrador Inuit Lands in the Mount Benedict Area, prior to the submission of a work permit approval request, in contravention of Section 4.11 of the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement. This was an oversight by the company and the company immediately stopped all work on these lands, and has been in communication with the Nunatsiavut Government to discuss the issue since it was brought to the company's attention.

William Barbour, Minister of Lands and Resources of the Nunatsiavut Government, has been contacted today and has agreed that Silver Spruce Resources Inc. can resubmit work plans for properties within Labrador Inuit Lands. Permission for this exploration could be granted in the future if all required conditions of the work permits are met. Ongoing discussions continue between the Nunatsiavut government and Silver Spruce to ensure that all these requirements are met as required.

Labrador Inuit lands comprise approximately 15 percent of Silver Spruce's exploration properties in Labrador and do not cover the CMBNW project of Silver Spruce Resources Inc. and its joint venture partner, Universal Uranium Ltd, where the Two Time uranium zone is located. Properties within Labrador Inuit lands within the CMB joint venture are Jacques Lake, CMBSE and CMBNE (partial) all of which have had limited follow up on radiometric surveys carried out in 2006, with no significant showings located to date. Work permit applications have been filed with the Nunasiavut Government for follow up exploration on these properties.

"We have great respect for the Labrador Inuit people and the Nunatsiavut Government," stated Lloyd Hillier, President and CEO of Silver Spruce. "We have taken steps to ensure this oversight does not happen again. Earlier this year, we formed an Advisory Board with representatives from the local Inuit community who help to guide the company's exploration efforts. With management, the Board of Directors and the Advisory Board all committed to Labrador and working together, I am confident of shared successes with the Nunatsiavut government and its people."

The Advisory Board (see news release dated June 19, 2007) is comprised of four people, all of aboriginal descent and residents of Labrador. Each is actively involved in their communities and with aboriginal affairs and two are beneficiaries of the Nunatsiavut Government agreement. Additionally, 50 percent of Silver Spruce employees are of aboriginal descent and, as the company grows, Silver Spruce is committed to continue to provide training and work to Labradoreans of all descents.

At the request of the TSX (Market Regulation Services), Silver Spruce also wishes to inform the public that results for holes CMB-07-21 to 24 on the Two Time zone remain pending. Results will be reported when they are received.

2008 Winter Drill Program Planned for Mount Benedict Property

--------------------------------------------------

 Highlights

- Values to 0.35% U308 in outcrop and 0.73% U308 in boulders
- Submission of 2008 work plans for Mount Benedict LIL and LISA lands
- Winter drilling planned to test T-649 and Super 7 showings
- Significant values to 0.7 % U308 located on the Makkovik River property

December 6, 2007 - Bridgewater, NS - Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSXV: SSE) is pleased to provide an update on exploration work on its Makkovik River and Mount Benedict properties, in the eastern portion of the Central Mineral Belt (CMB) of Labrador. Both properties are 100-percent owned by Silver Spruce.

Mount Benedict Property

Work on the Mount Benedict property during 2007 consisted of prospecting airborne radiometric anomalies located in the 2006 survey, and regional stream sediment sampling surveys. Prospecting in the summer led to the discovery of two significant high-grade uranium prospects -- the T-649, where five grab samples averaged 0.5% (10 lbs/ton) U308 and boulders with values to over 3% (60 lbs/ton) U308 were located; and the Super 7, with values to over 1.0% (20 lbs/ton) U308 -- both located on LIL (Labrador Inuit) lands. An archeological assessment for the area has been completed and submitted to the Nunatsiavut government and a work proposal to drill test both prospects in the first quarter of 2008 has been submitted to both the Nunatsiavut and Newfoundland and Labrador governments.

A regional silt sampling survey initiated in mid-September covered the northern portion of the property, on LISA (Labrador Inuit Settlement Area) lands, using the town of Makkovik as a base. Approximately 500 stream sediment samples were taken prior to the onset of winter conditions. Results were positive, with a number of areas giving first order, coincident U/Cu/Pb/Mo anomalies with uranium values greater than 60 ppm (against a background of <10 ppm). Uranium mineralization was also located in bedrock, with one value of 0.35% U308; and in float boulders, with values from 0.026% to 0.25% U308. Analytical results for stream sediment samples collected from drainages proximal to the T-649 and Super 7 showings are similarly anomalous in U/Cu/Pb/Mo. No follow up has been carried out. Results are shown on the compilation map below.

2008 Work plans for the Mount Benedict property on LISA lands have been submitted to both the Nunatsiavut and Newfoundland and Labrador governments. Work planned consists of airborne radiometric/magnetic surveys, prospecting, stream sediment and soil geochemistry, geological surveys, RadonEx and scintillometer ground surveys followed by drilling.

Makkovik River
Prospecting surveys, in conjunction with stream sediment sampling, were carried out in late August and early September, prior to an airborne radiometric/magnetic survey which was flown in late September. Uranium-bearing boulders were located along a northeast trending zone, approximately 1,500 to 2,000 meters in length. Mineralization is hosted in sheared /hematitized extrusive and intrusive rocks with float samples giving values from 0.049% to 0.733% U308. Scintillometer readings were taken along traverse lines where bedrock was exposed or in areas where mineralized boulders were located. The results are shown on the compilation map below, with the shading based on the scintillometer values. No follow up has been carried out. The airborne survey results are pending.

Detailed follow up work, consisting of prospecting, geochemical, geophysical and geological ground surveys, followed by trenching and drilling, if warranted, will be carried out in 2008.

ABOUT THE MOUNT BENEDICT AND MAKKOVIK PROPERTIES
The Mount Benedict Property is a large contiguous block of 3,695 claims (924 square kilometers), located 30 kilometers southeast of Makkovik. It is located in part, (15 percent), on Labrador Inuit Land (LIL), which is controlled by the Nunatsiavut Government. The remaining 85 percent is on Labrador Inuit Settlement Area (LISA) lands, which are jointly controlled by the Nunatsiavut and the Newfoundland Government. The claims are 100-percent owned by Silver Spruce, subject to a one percent NSR payable on production from 532 of the claims.

The Makkovik River Property consists of 200 claims (50 square kilometers), located 30 kilometers to the east of Postville on Labrador Inuit Settlement Area (LISA) lands. The claims are owned 100 percent by Silver Spruce.

Completion of Definition Drilling - Two Time Zone

--------------------------------------------------

 Highlights

- Completion of definition drilling for resource calculation - Two Time Zone
- Continued drilling to depth/along strike on the Two Time Zone in 2008

December 18, 2007 - Bridgewater, NS / Vancouver, BC - Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSXV: SSE) and Universal Uranium Ltd. (TSXV: UUL) are pleased to announce that the definition drilling program for the resource calculation at the Two Time Zone has been completed. Two drills completed the program and the camp was shut down for the Christmas break on December 15. The infill, definition drilling, was carried out in preparation for a NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate to be prepared by Scott Wilson Roscoe Postle Associates Inc. (SWRPA) early in 2008. The 18-hole program, totaling approximately 3,000 meters, was carried out in November and December 2007. Analytical results for the drilling are pending and will be released as received in January 2008.

At this time last year, December 2006, the joint venture had just completed the first drilling on the Two Time Zone -- holes CMB-07-1 to 5 -- for 812 metres. With the completion of the definition drilling, the joint venture has now completed a total of 11,190.6 metres of drilling in DDHs 1 to 41. Forty of these holes (CMB-07-1 to 23 and 25-41), totaling 10,922.6 metres, tested the Two Time Zone and one hole (CMB-07-24) tested a RadonEx soil gas anomaly to the north of the zone.

Drilling is planned to resume in the second week of January 2008. At that time, one drill will be utilized to evaluate the extensions of the Two Time Zone to depth and on strike to the north and south. The second drill will focus on the newly discovered Firestone Zone (see news release dated October 17, 2007) and other targets on the CMBNW property.

The Two Time Zone has been traced over a strike length of approximately 475 metres, from 2+75 N to 2+00 S, and remains open to the north and south along strike and to depth. The host for the mineralization is an altered, brecciated and fractured intrusive, monzodiorite to diorite, with extensive chlorite, carbonate, hematite and albite alteration. The orientation of the mineralization appears to be near vertical to steeply dipping.

"We have made great strides in the delineation of the Two Time uranium zone since its discovery in the fall of 2006," stated Lloyd Hillier, President and CEO of Silver Spruce. "In 2008, we look forward to the definition of a NI 43-101 compliant resource at the Two Time Zone that will establish Silver Spruce and Universal Uranium as companies with a significant new uranium deposit."

All uranium analyses are performed by Activation Laboratories in Ancaster, Ontario, an approved, accredited laboratory, using the delayed neutron activation technique (DNC), which gives accurate results for samples carrying up to 1.0% uranium. In addition, samples are analyzed using an ICP technique that gives good results for most other elements, including Thorium. A quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) program, described on the companies' websites, has been implemented by the Silver Spruce-Universal Uranium joint venture to increase confidence in the results generated. Plan maps and sections for the drilling on the Two Time Zone are also shown on the websites.

2008 Winter Program Begins on Snegamook and Mount Benedict Properties

Highlights

- Camp construction underway on Mount Benedict property in support
of a planned winter drill program to test T-649 and Super 7 showings
- Follow up diamond drilling on the Snegamook Property

January 8, 2008 - Bridgewater, NS - Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSXV: SSE) is pleased to announce that the 2008 winter exploration programs on the Mount Benedict and Snegamook properties in the central mineral belt (CMB) of Labrador have begun. Both properties are 100-percent owned by Silver Spruce. Crews were mobilized to both areas this week.

Mount Benedict  Property
A camp is being established on a small lake approximately 50 kilometers to the south of Makkovik on Labrador Inuit Settlement Area (LISA) lands. This camp will support the planned winter drilling program on the T-649 and Super 7 showings and summer exploration on the remainder of the Mount Benedict property. Work on the Mount Benedict property during 2007 led to the discovery of two significant high-grade uranium prospects, the T-649 where five grab samples averaged 0.5% (10 lbs/ton) U308 and boulders with some values over 3% (60 lbs/ton) U308 were found; and the Super 7, with some values over
1.0% (20 lbs/ton) U308. Both showings are located on LIL (Labrador Inuit) lands.

An archeological assessment of the area has been completed and submitted to the Nunatsiavut government and a work proposal to drill test both prospects in the first quarter of 2008 was submitted to both the Nunatsiavut and Newfoundland and Labrador governments.

Snegamook Property

Crews have been mobilized to the Kanairiktok camp, located just to the east of Snegamook Lake and near the Snegamook property. Diamond drilling will target strong untested radon gas anomalies, including high-priority targets south and east of the Two Time Zone and to the north of the Near Miss showing. In addition, it will test uranium mineralization located in the 2007 first pass drilling (1,375 meters in six holes), and other uranium mineralized areas discovered by prospecting. Four of the 2007 drill holes (985 meters) tested the Two Time Trend over a two-kilometer strike length, approximately 1.5 kilometers to the south of the Two Time Zone, on the CMBNW property to the north. The drilling intersected intrusive and older gnessic rocks with sections of structurally controlled, brecciated monzodiorite, similar in style to the Two Time mineralization, which carried moderate to strong chlorite, hematite and carbonate alteration and uranium mineralization in holes SN-07-02 and SN-07-03.

Values ranged from 50 to 1,034 ppm U308 with the best section averaging 189 ppm U308 (0.378 lbs/ton) over 24 meters, similar to values located in the Phase 1 drill program on the Two Time Zone itself. Two holes, SN-07-01 and SN-07-04, did not locate any radioactivity or mineralization; however, they appear to have missed the RadonEx anomalies they were designed to test, due to their direction and set up locations. Two holes (390 meters), SNNM-07-01 and SNNM-0702, spaced 80 meters apart, targeted the Near Miss showing, a uranium-bearing hematite breccia, located by prospecting in 2006. Both holes intersected one-meter intervals of uranium mineralization grading from 235 to 1,534 ppm U308. The mineralization is developed proximal to, or along the contact with, older Archean Gneiss.

ABOUT THE MOUNT BENEDICT AND SNEGAMOOK PROPERTIES
The Mount Benedict Property is a large contiguous block of 3,695 claims (924 square kilometers), located from 30 to 70 kilometers southeast of Makkovik. The claims are 100-percent owned by Silver Spruce, subject to a one percent NSR payable on any production from 532 of the claims.

The Snegamook property, consisting of 86 claims (21.5 square kilometers), is surrounded by the CMBNW JV property to the north, west and east and the Santoy "Fishhawk Lake" property to the south. It is subject to an option agreement with a group of Newfoundland-based prospectors. Silver Spruce can earn a 100-percent interest in the property subject to a 2 percent NSR. It is located outside of lands owned by the Nunatsiavut government, on lands subject to the Innu Land Claim.

Three drills working on Snegamook Property; Camp construction complete on Mount Benedict Property

--------------------------------------------------

 Highlights

- 3,000-4,000-meter diamond drill program using three drills in progress on Snegamook Property
- Camp construction completed on Mount Benedict Property

February 12, 2008 - Bridgewater, NS - Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSXV: SSE) is pleased to update shareholders on the ongoing 2008 diamond drilling program on the Snegamook Property in the western portion of the Central Mineral Belt of Labrador. Silver Spruce has an option to earn a 100% interest in the Snegamook Property, subject to a 2% Net Smelter Return (NSR).

Diamond drilling is targeting coincident airborne radiometric and strong untested radon gas anomalies, including high-priority targets south and east of the Two Time Zone and to the north of the Near Miss showing. Values ranged from 50 to 1,034 ppm U308, with the best section averaging 189 ppm U308 (0.378 lbs/ton) over 24 meters. This is similar to values located during the Phase 1 drill program on the Two Time Zone itself.

Drilling to date in 2008, totaling 1,414 meters, has tested the Near Miss showing with four drill holes -- SNNM-08-3 to 7 for a total of 807 meters and anomalies along the southerly trend of the Two Time zone -- SN-08-5 to 7 for 607 meters. All holes drilled to date have intersected zones of radioactivity as defined by total count scintillometer. Core samples from the holes have been sent for analysis and results are pending.

A third drill, recently mobilized to the property, will test anomalies away from the known mineralized trends.

Mount Benedict Property
A camp has being established on a small lake approximately 50 kilometers to the south of Makkovik on Labrador Inuit Settlement Area (LISA) lands. This camp will support the planned winter drilling program on the T-649 and Super 7 showings and summer exploration on the remainder of the Mount Benedict property. Work in 2007 resulted in the discovery of two significant high-grade uranium prospects, the T-649, where five grab samples averaged 0.5% (10 lbs/ton) U308 and boulders with values over 3% (60 lbs/ton) U308 were found; and the Super 7, with values to over 1.0% (20 lbs/ton) U308.

Both showings are located on Labrador Inuit (LIL) lands and an archeological assessment has been completed and submitted to the Nunatsiavut government. Work permits for the winter drilling on both prospects and the summer exploration, have been submitted to both the Nunatsiavut and Newfoundland and Labrador governments and are currently pending.

About the Snegamook and Mount Benedict Properties
The Snegamook property, consisting of 86 claims (21.5 square kilometers), is surrounded by the CMBNW JV property to the north, west and east and the Santoy "Fishhawk Lake" property to the south. It is subject to an option agreement with a group of Newfoundland-based prospectors. Silver Spruce can earn a 100% interest in the property subject to a 2% NSR. It is located outside of lands owned by the Nunatsiavut government, on lands subject to the Innu Land Claim.

The Mount Benedict Property is a large contiguous block of 3,695 claims (924 square kilometers), located from 30 to 70 kilometers southeast of Makkovik in the eastern portion of the Central Mineral Belt. It is located, in part (15%), on Labrador Inuit Land (LIL), which is controlled by the Nunatsiavut Government. The remaining 85% is on Labrador Inuit Settlement Area (LISA) lands, which are jointly controlled by the Nunatsiavut and the Newfoundland Government. The claims are 100% owned by Silver Spruce, subject to a 2% NSR payable on any production from 532 of the claims.

Update on 2007 Exploration - CMBNW Property

--------------------------------------------------

 Highlights:

- Strong airborne radiometric anomalies located to the north of Snegamook Lake
- Gravity anomalies associated with Two Time mineralization and other mineralized areas
- Strong uranium in soil geochemistry and rock sample values in untested areas

February 21, 2008 - Bridgewater, NS / Vancouver, BC - Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSXV: SSE) and Universal Uranium Ltd. (TSXV: UUL) are pleased to provide an update on the 2007 exploration program on the CMBNW JV property, where the Two Time uranium zone is located. The 2007 work included an infill/definition drilling program for a resource calculation on the Two Time Zone; an airborne radiometric and magnetic survey over an area to the north of Snegamook Lake; an air gravity survey over the Kanairiktok River area, including the Two Time Zone and the adjoining Snegamook property to the south; and prospecting, geological mapping, RadonEx soil gas surveys, soil geochemistry and trenching/sampling in selected areas.

Two drills completed the resource definition program at the Two Time Zone on December 15, 2007. The drilling was carried out for an NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate being carried out by Scott Wilson Roscoe Postle Associates Inc. (SWRPA). As of December 31, 2007, a total of 11,190.6 meters in DDHs 1 to 41, had been drilled on the CMBNW property. Forty of these holes (1-23 and 25-41), for a total of 10,922.6 meters, tested the Two Time Zone and one hole, CMB-07-24, tested a RadonEx soil gas anomaly to the north of the zone. The diamond drilling data will be reported with the resource estimate, within the next couple of weeks. Drilling is planned to resume in the first quarter of 2008 with one drill carrying out further infill drilling and evaluating extensions of the Two Time Zone to depth and on strike. The second drill will focus on the Firestone Zone (see news release dated October 17, 2007) and other targets that have been generated on the CMBNW property.

Trenching/sampling was carried out on the Two Time Zone as part of the exploration required for the resource estimate. Deep overburden prevented complete coverage; however, a total of 113 bedrock channel samples were sawed from the bedrock at one meter intervals from five trenches. Weakly to moderately radioactive hematitized/brecciated monozodiorite was exposed over lengths of 10 to 35 meters in the trenches with U308 assays as follows: Trench 1 -- 5 meters at 166 ppm; Trench 2 -- 4 meters at 285 ppm; Trench 3 -- 6 meters of 166 ppm; Trench 4 -- 13 meters of 266 ppm; and Trench 5 -- 10 meters of 161 ppm. The highest grade located was six meters of 395 ppm U308 from Trench 4. The trenching confirmed and expanded the previous trenching, carried out in 2006, exposing weakly to moderately radioactive sections of brecciated monozodiorite. Results are comparable to the previous sampling, and with extensive uranophane noted in near surface drill holes, suggest near surface leaching of uranium in the upper portion of the Two Time Zone.

The airborne radiometric/magnetic survey was carried out over an area to the north of Snegamook Lake by McPhar Airborne Surveys in a north-south direction at a line spacing of 100 meters. A total of 885 line kilometers were flown. Four high priority, 16 moderate priority and a number of lower priority targets were "picked" by consultant Ted Urquhart of NuSense Geophysics (Santiago, Chile). They were selected on the basis of U/Th ratios, using the 95th percentile with a minimum of 14 cps uranium; total uranium; total field magnetics; and geology. The higher priority targets are mainly located in the northern and southern portions of the area flown. They are associated with anomalous lake sediment geochemistry (values up to 258 ppm U) in the north and areas shown to be radiometrically anomalous by Brinex in the 1970s in the south. The uranium map, with the targets shown, can be viewed on the Silver Spruce and Universal Uranium websites. The lake sediment results were published in a news release dated June 26, 2007.

The air gravity survey was carried out by Bell Aerospace of Houston, Texas. It was flown at a one-kilometer line spacing for 10 kilometers in an east-west direction, covering the Kanairiktok River area of the CMBNW property including the Two Time Zone area and extending to the south of the river over the Snegamook Property, 100%-owned by Silver Spruce. This survey showed a number of gravity features, both positive and negative, some of which appear to be associated with the Two Time mineralization, and possible extensions to the north and south. Positive gravity areas away from the zone to the west and northeast appear to reflect intrusive bodies as shown on the magnetic and geological maps. Coincidence of positive gravity anomalies with mineralized occurrences is also shown in the northeastern portion of the property. No geophysical/geological interpretation by a geophysical consultant has been carried out on this data to date.

A total of 2,120 B horizon soil samples were collect over selected areas to the east and north of the Two Time Zone. Samples were analyzed for uranium and other elements. Values in uranium range from 0.1 to 130 ppm, with a mean value of 2 ppm. No other elements gave significant anomalous values. The results highlight four uranium anomalous areas as follows:

1) A 1.2-kilometer long anomaly with coincident radon gas anomalies, to the north of the Two Time Showing.
2) An area approximately 2.5 km to the east of the Two Time Showing, associated with radon gas anomalies and/or near areas of untested uranium mineralization in bedrock.
3) An area 4.5 km to the east-northeast of the Two Time Zone where uranium values ranging from 6.9 to 116 ppm were located over a 700-meter long zone which remains open to the north and east. Mineralized outcrop/boulders of hematite breccia giving values ranging from 0.07 to 0.30 % U308 have been located in the area.
4) Sporadic values up to 32 ppm on a small grid in the southeastern part of the property, covering the extension of a structural lineament carrying uranium mineralization on an adjoining property.

Rock sample results, from regional prospecting and more detailed follow up based on RadonEx and soil geochemistry, indicate a number of prospective areas, primarily in the northeastern and southeastern portions of the property. Geological mapping indicates a structural association of the mineralized areas with northwest and northeast trending structures. Uranium bearing hematite breccia zones have been identified along these structures some of which are in excess of 6.5 kilometers long.

Trenching on showings outside of the Two Time area was curtailed due to thick overburden and the onset of winter conditions in late October. Three channel samples were taken at one meter intervals from poorly exposed outcrop in the western part of the Firestone showing. The samples are pervasively hematitized/oxidized breccia which gave values of 60,160 and 300 ppm U308. As at the Two Time Zone, uranium mineralization at the Firestone prospect has undergone surface leaching as shown by uranophane on fractures.

All of the mineralized zones discovered during the 2007 field season will be targeted by the 2008 drill campaign.

"We have come a long way since the discovery of the Two Time uranium zone in the fall of 2006 and the first drilling program completed in December 2006," stated Lloyd Hillier, President and CEO of Silver Spruce. "We look forward to the definition of an NI 43-101 compliant resource that will establish Silver Spruce and Universal Uranium as companies with a significant uranium deposit at the Two Time Zone. We also look forward to further discoveries as we continue our follow up exploration."

A quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) program, described on the companies' websites, has been implemented by the Silver Spruce/Universal Uranium joint venture to increase confidence in the results generated.

Plan maps and sections for the drilling on the Two Time Zone, the radiometric picks for the Snegamook North airborne survey, the air gravity results and a compilation map showing the RadonEx, soil, geochemical and rock sample results are shown on the Silver Spruce and Universal Uranium websites at www.silverspruceresources.com and www.universaluranium.com.

Drill Permit received for Mount Benedict Property: Airborne Radiometric Anomalies located on Makkovik River property

(TSXV: SSE) is pleased to announce that permits have been received from the Nunatsiavut Government for the planned diamond drilling on the Mount Benedict property, T-649 and Super Seven showings, in the eastern part of the Central Mineral Belt (CMB) of Labrador. In addition, results from the airborne radiometric/magnetic surveys carried out over the Makkovik River property in the fall of 2007, by McPhar Geosurveys Ltd., indicate significant uranium anomalies that will require follow up. Both properties are 100% owned by Silver Spruce with 532 original claims in the Mount Benedict property subject to a 1.0% NSR.

Mount Benedict Property

The permit for the pre-drilling work and diamond drilling for the T-649 and Super Seven showings, and the summer work program on the Mount Benedict Property, was received on February 22. The permit requires a public information session to be held in Makkovik at least two weeks prior to the start of the program and this is in the planning stages. A fully winterized camp has been established on a small lake approximately 50 kilometers to the south of Makkovik on Labrador Inuit Settlement Area (LISA) lands. The T-649 and Super Seven showings, located in the summer of 2007 during prospecting follow up of airborne surveys, are high-grade uranium prospects. At the T-649, five grab samples taken across a 12 to 14 meter wide outcrop of hematite breccia, averaged 0.5% (10 lbs/ton) U3O8 and boulders with values over 3.0% (60 lbs/ton) U3O8 were located downstream of the showing. Values varying from a few hundred ppm to 1.0% (20 lbs/ton) U3O8 were located at the Super 7 prospect in limited sampling. The drilling, which is helicopter supported, is planned to start around mid March once all gear has been mobilized to the area, and all requirements under the permit, including the hiring of an environmental monitor, have been met.

Makkovik River Property
A 560.5 line kilometer airborne radiometric/magnetic survey was flown in a north-south direction at 100-meter line spacing by McPhar Geosurveys Ltd. in September 2007. Three high-priority, eight moderate-priority and a number of lower priority targets were "picked" by consultant, Ted Urquhart of NuSense Geophysics (Santiago, Chile). They were selected on the basis of U/Th ratios, using the 95th percentile with a minimum of 14 cps uranium, total uranium and total field magnetics.

Prospecting surveys carried out in late August and early September of 2007, prior to the airborne survey, located uranium-bearing boulders along a northeast trending zone, approximately 1,500 to 2,000 meters in length in the west central part of the property. Mineralization is hosted in sheared/hematitized extrusive and intrusive rocks with float samples giving values from 0.049% to 0.733% U3O8. Some coincidence with the airborne target picks is noted.

No follow up has been carried out. Detailed follow up work, consisting of prospecting, geochemical, geophysical and geological ground surveys, followed by trenching and drilling, if warranted, will be carried out in the summer of 2008.
Results for the 2007 prospecting surveys and the uranium airborne picks on the Makkovik River property and maps showing the planned drilling on the Mount Benedict property are on the company's website (www.silverspruceresources.com).

About the Mount Benedict and Makkovik River Properties
The Mount Benedict Property is a large contiguous block of 4,057 claims (1,014 square kilometers), located 30 to 70 kilometers southeast of Makkovik. It is located in part, (10% to 15%), on Labrador Inuit Land (LIL), which is controlled by the Nunatsiavut Government. The remaining 85% is on Labrador Inuit Settlement Area (LISA) lands, which are jointly controlled by the Nunatsiavut and the Newfoundland Government. The claims are 100% owned by Silver Spruce, subject to a 1.0% NSR payable on production from 532 of the original 1,024 claims.

The Makkovik River property, consisting of 200 claims (50 square kilometers), is located in the eastern part of the Central Mineral Belt, 30 kilometers to the east of Postville, on Labrador Inuit Settlement Area (LISA) lands. It was acquired by staking in 2007 and is owned 100% by Silver Spruce.

Anomalous Gold, Silver and Mercury in Soils on Centauro Property

--------------------------------------------------

Bridgewater, NS - Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSXV: SSE) is pleased to announce that the 2007 exploration program on the Centauro Property in the Sierra Madre Occidental of Chihuahua State, Mexico, has resulted in the definition of significant soil anomalies in gold, silver, mercury, barium and the "toxic" metals (arsenic, antimony) associated with the silicified mesa "cap". The Centauro Property is under option to Silver Spruce, which can earn a 100% interest in the property as previously announced.

The area was previously explored in the early to mid 1990s by Jaba Inc., Excellon Minerals, Blue Ribbon Resources and Cascabel Resources who carried out rock chip sampling, structural studies and a six-hole, reverse circulation (RC) drilling program that tested the silicified zone on the eastern side. Weakly anomalous gold and silver values in the 100 ppb gold and 3 ppm silver range, were located in a couple of the holes. No follow up was carried out.

In the Silver Spruce work, four lines, each approximately 2 kilometers long, at approximate 500-meter intervals, were cut through the underbrush over the mesa to cover an approximate 1.5-kilometer strike of the silicified zone. Soil samples were taken from the surface soil at 10 meter intervals along each of the lines extending into the colluvium both to the east and west of the silicified mesa. Samples were taken at 50 meter intervals over the colluvium to give a regional background.

Soil geochemical results are as follows:

Mercury (Hg) is strongly anomalous (values >1000 ppb throughout, with values up to 28,700 ppb) along the eastern portion of the zone, to the east of the old Excellon RC holes, with weak anomalies in the central portion, near the Excellon holes, and stronger but narrower zones to the northwest;

Gold (Au) values (>25 ppb, with a high of 72 ppb) are strongest on the west side of the mesa, associated with an inferred fault structure, weakly anomalous in the central portion and sporadic in the eastern portion of the zone;

Silver (Ag) values (>1 ppm, up to 2.5 ppm) are strongly anomalous on the west side of the zone associated with the higher Au values and the inferred fault structure, with a weak anomaly associated with the area tested by Excellon RC Hole # 6;

Antimony (Sb) values (>80 ppm with a high of 428 ppm) are located mainly on the west side of the mesa and are highest to the northwest where outcrops containing realgar, orpiment and stibnite, in a black silicified conglomerate, are located. Weaker anomalies are also noted in the central part;

Arsenic (As) values (>400 ppm, with values to 4,020 ppm) are noted throughout the silicified zone but are strongest to the east and west of the Excellon RC holes although weak anomalies are associated with the area drilled by Excellon;

Barium (Ba) values (>1200 ppm) are strongest on the west side of the zone, especially the southwestern part, associated with the inferred fault. Base metal values are low to non-anomalous throughout, generally < 50 ppm. The highly anomalous Hg values, coupled with the anomalous Au, Ag and toxic metal suite and the low base metal values indicate that the system should be above the "boiling zone", and therefore the zone of deposition for epithermal "bonanza gold" veins.

Three rock samples (AG-1 to 3), taken from epithermal style quartz vein float and outcrop in old undocumented prospect pits in the northwestern portion of the property, gave values from 129 to 17,900 ppm (1.79%) Sb, < 5 to 13 ppb Au, 1.6 to 2.4 ppm Ag, 192 to 482 ppm As and 2,630 to 6,490 ppb Hg.

Dr. Greg Arehart, a professor at the University of Nevada in Reno, and a recognized expert in epithermal and Carlin-type gold deposits, has visited the Centauro Property twice, with the most recent visit following the receipt of the soil geochemistry results. He comments, "The Centauro prospect is one of very few essentially untested epithermal prospects in the epithermal province of the Sierra Madre Occidental. This system has clearly seen voluminous and extensive fluid flow, as evidenced by the intense and widespread silicification. Metals in rock chip and soil samples are anomalous over a significant area, indicating potential for a large (multi-million ounce) metal endowment. Two target types are present: a near surface, low-grade, large tonnage potentially Carlin-Type resource, as well as a deeper, focused, bonanza-type system."

Two more soil lines, 5 and 6, were sampled in January-February 2008. Sampling was carried out as before, at 10 and 50 meter intervals, with a total of 122 samples taken. In addition, seven rock samples were also taken. Results are pending and will be reported when received. A diamond drilling program of approximately 3,000 meters, in approximately 10 drill holes, is planned to test the anomalous silicified zone in the first/second quarter of 2008. Road building to support this work is underway.

All samples were transported to the Activation Laboratories Ltd. (Actlabs) preparation laboratory in Hermosillo, Mexico, and then sent to the Actlabs laboratory facility in Ancaster Ontario, for analysis for gold by fire assay (1A2), 37 elements by Aqua Regia ICP (1E3) and Mercury by cold vapour FIMS (1G). The soil geochemical plans, with values for the various elements, and the location of the new soil lines (Lines 5 and 6), plus the rock sample locations, are shown on the Silver Spruce website.

About the Centauro Property
The Centauro Property is a contiguous block of six claims (1,420 hectares), located in the southern part of Chihuahua State, just to the north of Durango State, approximately 25 km to the west of Highway 45, the main north-south highway in Mexico. The property is subject to an option agreement with a Mexican geologist, Jesus Ayax Alba Pascoe, whereby Silver Spruce can earn a 100% interest in the property subject to a 3% NSR with a 2% buyback for US$2 million. The property agreements have been registered with the General Bureau of Mining of the Exploration Agreement in Mexico and the option is subject to payment by Silver Spruce of US$375,000 and 1,325,000 common shares of Silver Spruce over four years, subject to a 3% NSR with a 2% buyback for US$2 million. Advance royalties of US$50,000 per year, starting on the fifth anniversary, and a "finders fee" totaling C$9,600 plus 165,470 shares or cash equivalent over four years are also payable by Silver Spruce to maintain the property in good standing.

Hallo,

Cuba

Drilling Begins on the Centauro Gold-Silver Property, Chihuahua State, Mexico

May 13, 2008 - Bridgewater, NS - Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSXV: SSE) is pleased to announce that the 2008 drill program has begun on the Centauro Property in the Sierra Madre Occidental of Chihuahua State, Mexico. The program is testing strong soil anomalies in gold, silver, and the "toxic" metals (mercury arsenic, antimony) associated with a silicified mesa, a highly altered limestone conglomerate. The Centauro Property is under option to Silver Spruce, who can earn a 100% interest, as previously announced.

The drill program began in the northwestern portion of the property where realgar and orpiment (arsenic bearing minerals) and antimony mineralization in the form of stibnite has been noted. Drill sites were prepared by bulldozer over the silicified/altered area, including the top of the mesa which was otherwise unapproachable and thereby untested by drilling. The emphasis of the drill program is on the western portion of the altered zone, which is untested. The area was previously explored in the early to mid 1990s by Jaba Inc., Excellon Resources Inc., Blue Ribbon Resources Ltd. and Cascabel Resources. Rock chip sampling, structural studies and a six-hole, reverse circulation (RC) drilling program partially tested the silicified zone on the eastern side. Weakly anomalous gold and silver values in the 100 ppb gold and 3 ppm silver range, were located in a couple of the holes. No follow up was carried out.

Silver Spruce also received results for soil lines 5 and 6, comprising a total of 122 samples, located to the north of lines 1 to 4. Results from lines 1 to 4 were reported on February 27, 2008. The new results extend the anomalous soil values to over 2.2 kilometers of strike along the zone. Line 6, located approximately 300 meters to the north of Line 3, gave the best values. These included: Hg to 5,510 ppb, Au to 164 ppb, Ag to 5.7 ppm, As to 1,700 ppm, Ba to 3,100 ppm and Sb to 175 ppm. Line 5 gave lower anomalous values, with Hg up to 1,700 ppb, Au to 70 ppb (coincident), Ag to 1.3 ppm, As to 828 ppm, Ba to 2,510 ppm and Sb to 61.3 ppm. Seven rock samples from the area gave anomalous values in the Line 6 area as follows: Au - 4 to 130 ppb, As - 10 to 852 ppm, and Sb/Hg - coincident values from 3,470 to greater than 10,000 ppm Sb and 2,960 to 26,600 ppb Hg. Silver values were not reported.

Dr. Greg Arehart, a professor at the University of Nevada in Reno, and a recognized expert in epithermal and Carlin-type gold deposits, has visited the Centauro Property as a consultant to Silver Spruce. He comments, "The Centauro prospect is one of very few, essentially untested, precious metal prospects in the epithermal province of the Sierra Madre Occidental.

The soil lines, mainly one to two kilometers long and at approximate 500 meter intervals, except at the north end where they are approximately 300 meters apart, were cut through the underbrush over the mesa and the area to the northwest to cover an approximate 2.2 kilometer strike of the silicified zone. The soil samples were taken from the surface at 10 meter intervals along each of the lines generally extending into the colluvium both to the east and west of the silicified zone. Samples were taken at 50 meter intervals over the colluvium to give a regional background.

The soil geochemical plans, with values for the various elements, plus the rock sample values, are shown on the Silver Spruce website. Maps and photos showing the drill sites, and an aerial photo of the Centauro mesa, can also be viewed on the website.

ABOUT THE CENTAURO PROPERTY

Silber Spruce hat eine Menge Potential! Was Edelmetalle angeht: Drill ready and road accessible, therefore
cheaply explored, gold / silver properties in Newfoundland.
Silver Spruce can earn a 100% interest in the Centauro Property, a gold-silver prospect in the Sierra Madre Occidental of Chihuahua State, Mexico. Significant soil anomalies in gold, silver, mercury and barium were defined at Centauro in early 2008 and diamond drilling is underway.

Silver Spruce braucht z.Zt. auch nicht zu fördern, da sie eher ein explorator sind. Das Fördern kommt wahrscheinlich aber bald dazu "drill ready"

Press Release Source: Silver Spruce Resources Inc. On Tuesday May 3, 2011, 9:00 am EDT

BRIDGEWATER, NOVA SCOTIA--(Marketwire - May 3, 2011) - Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SSE - News;FRANKFURT:S6Q - News) is pleased to provide an update on the Phase 1 diamond drilling progam at the Big Easy property in eastern Newfoundland. A total of seven holes (BE-11-1 to 7), totaling 1,577 m, were completed. The drilling has tested the zone over an approximate 1 km strike length from L 7560 N (BE-11-1) to L 8600 N (BE-11-7) over widths of up to 500 m. All holes, the first ever drilled on the property, intersected strongly altered (silicified /sericitized/chloritized) and mineralized sedimentary units (see news releases dated March 24, 2011 and April 8, 2011). The drilling is testing Induced Polarization (IP) targets and an altered (silicified) / mineralized area, which extends over an area of greater than 1 km by 500 m wide, narrowing to the north and south.

A significant gold/silver zone was located in DDH BE-11-3, drilled under BE-11-2, at a vertical depth of 170 to 210 m. The zone gave 0.41 g/t Au and 15.4 g/T Ag over 89.2 m from 183 m to 272.2m, including 0.87 g/t Au and 33.5 g/T Ag over 30.5 m from 228 m to 258.5 m, including 2.5 g/t Au and 74.1 g/T Ag over 7 m from 239 m to246 m, including 6.05 g/t Au and 174 g/T Ag over 1.5 m from 240.5 m to 242 m and 6.04 g/T Au and 114 g/T Ag over 1 m from 245 m to 246 m. The highest grades are associated with the brecciated zone located between 228 and 272 m. Pyrite as disseminations and veins/veinlets averaging 2%-3% and an unknown, minor fine grained grey black metallic mineral, is noted in this section. An unidentified silvery metallic mineral tentatively identified as metallic carbon is noted on fracture surfaces in parts of the mineralized zone.

DDH BE-11-4, located approximately 190 m to the north of BE-11-3, but testing the zone further to the west and at shallower depths, gave a narrow anomalous zone of 0.41 g/t Au over 7 m from 95 m to 102 m, including 0.91 g/t Au over 3 m from 95 m to 98 m, including 1.09 g/t Au over 1 m from 97 m to 98 m. Other values in the 100 ppb (0.1 g/t) Au range over narrow widths up to 1.5 m were also noted. Ag results as part of the ICP analyses remain pending. Au/Ag results for hole 1, located approximately 110 m to the south of BE-11-3 and hole 2, approximately 100 m ahead of BE-11-3, both of which tested the zone at shallower depths, gave generally anomalous values of 30-60 ppb Au (0.03 to 0.06 g/T) with some scattered values in the 100 ppb (0.1 g/T) range over narrow widths of up to 1.5 m. Ag values are generally background with some values up to 3 ppm (g/T). The lower detection limit for Ag is 1 ppm in the ICP method used and most values are at the 1 ppm limit.

Holes 1, 2, 4 and 5 tested the altered / mineralized zone to a maximum vertical depth of 170 m, with most shallower, while Hole 3 tested the zone to a vertical depth of 230 m, with the Au/Ag zone located below 170 m vertical depth. Holes 6 and 7, located 500 m and 700 m to the north of holes 4 and 5, tested the zone to vertical depths beyond 200 m. True widths are not known, due to variable dips of the units, but are believed to be close to drill intersections.

Gouge zones, thought to represent fault or shear zones, are noted in all the drill holes, especially along the east and west contact areas, indicating that the system has been faulted either contemporaneously or post mineralization. The structural control on the mineralization is not yet known.

Core samples from holes 1 to 6 and the upper part of hole 7, have been submitted to the laboratory with complete analytical results received for holes 1 to 3 and Au values for all of hole 4. All other results are pending. Cutting of the remainder of the samples from hole 7 is continuing with samples submitted every few days. The rest of the results will be reported as received.

The 121 claim (30 km2) property, located near Thorburn Lake in eastern Newfoundland, was optioned from prospectors Alex Turpin and Colin Kendall. The option agreement, to earn a 100% interest subject to a 3% NSR with a 1.5% buyback for $1.5M, is a total of $110,000 plus 1.6 M shares over three years. A yearly advance royalty payment of $20,000 per year, deducted from future NSR payments, is payable from the 4th anniversary on. The second option payment, due on April 21, 2011, has been made.

Drill core is cut in half using a diamond core saw, with one half sent for analysis and the other half retained for study. Samples are submitted to the Acccurassay Preparation laboratory in Gambo, NL. where they are prepped and then sent to their laboratory in Thunder Bay, ON for analysis for gold by fire assay with an AA finish and an ICP-30 technique for other elements. Some samples may also be analyzed for Hg using the ALHg1 technique. Values are checked by internal standards at the laboratory. Check sampling is also being carried out to check the accuracy of the main laboratory.

Plan maps of the drilling, the IP chargeability and resistivity and a compilation map for the property, plus pictures showing the drilling and the drill core, are also available on the Silver Spruce website at silverspruceresources.com.

Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SSE - News; FRANKFURT:S6Q - News) is pleased to provide the final results for the Phase 1 diamond drilling on the road accessible Big Easy gold/silver project located near Thorburn Lake in eastern Newfoundland. A total of seven holes (BE-11-1 to 7), totaling 1,577 m, tested the altered / mineralized zone over an approximate 1 km strike length from L 7560 N (BE-11-1) to L 8600 N (BE-11-7). All holes, the first ever drilled on the property, intersected strongly altered (silicified /sericitized/chloritized) and mineralized sedimentary units (see news releases dated March 24, April 8, May 3, and June 1, 2011), with minor to significant gold / silver intersections.

In results not previously released, gold/silver values were located in drill holes 4,5,6 and 7 located to the north of BE-11-3. Highlights include: 163 ppb Au and 32.3 ppm Ag over 6.5 m (97-103.5m) in BE-11-5; 1358 ppb Au and 2 ppm Ag over 6 m (41-47 m) including 1 m (43-44 m) at 7645 ppb Au and 10 ppm Ag, and 319 ppb Au and 13 ppm Ag over 18.6 m (231.3-249.9 m) including 1067 ppb Au and 64 ppm Ag over 2.4 m (231.3-233.7 m) in BE-11-7. All drill holes gave at least 1 value greater than 100 ppb Au over at least 1 m. Significant results are given in the table following.

As reported in the May 3, 2011 news release, a strong gold/silver zone was located in DDH BE-11-3. The zone gave 0.41 g/t Au and 15.4 g/T Ag over 89.2 m from 183 m to 272.2m, including 0.87 g/t Au and 33.5 g/T Ag over 30.5 m from 228 m to 258.5 m, including 2.5 g/t Au and 74.1 g/T Ag over 7 m from 239 m to 246 m, including 6.05 g/t Au and 174 g/T Ag over 1.5 m from 240.5 m to 242 m and 6.04 g/T Au and 114 g/T Ag over 1 m from 245 m to 246 m. The highest grades are associated with a brecciated zone located between 228 m and 272 m. Pyrite, as disseminations and veins/veinlets averaging 2-3%, and an unknown, minor fine grained grey black metallic mineral, is noted in this section. Alteration noted is illite, muscovite/sericite and potassium feldspar (Kspar) with strong silicification throughout.

The structural control on the mineralization is not yet known although gouge zones representing shears or faults were noted in most holes.

The Big Easy mineralized zone is a new gold / silver discovery in an area not previously known to host significant gold mineralization. The zone lies in the Avalon Zone along the northern extension of the Burin Peninsula high sulphidation belt where extensive precious metal exploration is being carried out.

Results were also received for check samples from drill holes BE-11-1 to 3. Samples with background, anomalous and higher values were sent. Results generally corresponded quite well with Accurassay values, on average, 1% higher than the check sample results from Eastern Analytical. The highest variation was an Ag value of 19 ppm which was 58% higher from Accurassay than the check result from Eastern Analytical at 5 ppm. The two 6 g/T Au values from BE-11-3 gave 5.8 g/T and 5.5 g/T respectively in the checks. It is believed that a nugget affect may be causing the variation is some samples. Evaluation of mineralized sections will be carried out by thin section analysis. Check samples from holes 4 to 7 have been submitted to Eastern Analytical for analysis. Results will be reported when received with a full summary of the check sampling.

All data will be compiled is a 3D database to allow modeling of the system for a Phase 2 drilling program to be carried out later in the summer or in the early fall.

The 121 claim (30 km(2)) property, located near Thorburn Lake in eastern Newfoundland, was optioned from prospectors Alex Turpin and Colin Kendall.

Silver Spruce Program-Popes Hill REEs

Highlights

-- Prospecting on original PH property locates new area of radioactivity over 700 m strike length -- Airborne radiometric / magnetic / VLF-EM Survey on Popes Hill Trend began June 24 -- Ground radiometric (spectrometer) survey on original PH property underway

Silver Spruce Resources Inc. is pleased to announce that the 2011 summer field season on the Pope's Hill, Popes Hill JV and MRT, rare earth element (REE) properties has begun with a seven person field crew working out of a field camp on the Trans Labrador Highway, approximately 50 km from Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Regional and detailed prospecting, geological mapping, stream sediment sampling, detailed ground radiometric surveys on the original Popes Hill property and line cutting and detailed prospecting on the MRT property is planned. A geochemical survey has evaluated the efficacy of heavy mineral concentrate (HMC) and regular stream sediments along the Popes Hill trend.

Prospecting on the original PH property has resulted in the location of moderate to strong radioactivity with total count values of up to 3500 cps (background less than 100 cps) associated with rock samples carrying massive vein type mineralization of mixed grey to black and red unknown minerals, similar to samples from the September 2010 prospecting survey which averaged 5.73% total rare earth elements plus yttrium (TREEs), with a high value of 24% (News release dated Oct. 28, 2010), in 31 samples taken over a 7 km strike length. The area lies to the northeast of the MP showing pit and can be traced intermittently over a 700 m strike length, remaining open along strike to the east and west. Samples are mostly angular float, and/or subcrop, possibly indicative of a nearby source. Diamond drilling in January (News release March 3, 2011) was not successful in intersecting the high grade veins noted in float and outcrop in the vicinity of the MP pit indicating that the high grade zones may be occurring as pods of mineralization, possibly related to cross cutting, structural features.

Samples with moderate to strong radioactivity with total count values up to 3000 cps (background less than 100 cps) have also been acquired from the MRT property, located approximately 65 km to the east along the PH trend from the original Popes Hill property. Values up to 8.95% TREE's and 0.9% U3O8 were located on the property in 2010 and early 2011 (see news release dated Feb. 17, 2011) during prospecting and due diligence sampling respectively.

Forty eight rock samples have been sent for analysis to date with others taken but not yet gone to the laboratory. Results will be released as received.

The airborne radiometric, magnetic and VLF-EM survey on the Popes Hill trend including the Pope's Hill, MRT and Pope's Hill JV, a joint venture with the Great West Minerals Group, began on June 24. The survey, being flown at 100 m line intervals, consists of approximately 9,500 line kilometers. Contractor is Tundra Airborne Surveys of Niagara Falls ON. The survey is expected to take approximately 3 weeks. Preliminary results will be available as the survey progresses to allow early follow up with the final survey results expected in 2 to 3 months.

Follow up of anomalies or showings located in the detailed and regional work and the airborne surveys will be carried out once the regional work is completed, in late summer and the early fall, to allow trenching and drilling of targets located in the late fall and early winter.

The Company also announces that the Popes Hill JV, a 50/50 joint venture with Great West Minerals Group (GWMG) has acquired another 247 claims covering a prospective linear monzonite body, with associated REE lake sediment anomalies, located to the north of the original JV claims to the east of the original Popes Hill Property. This brings the total claims in the JV to 759 (190 km2).

Rock samples are transported to the Activation Labs preparation facility in Goose Bay, then shipped to their laboratory in Ancaster, ON. for analysis using their REE 8 package. Uranium analyses are carried out using an ICP technique, with higher values re-run using a DNC technique. The laboratory uses internal standards to check their analyses and blanks are included in each sample batch.

Plan maps of the properties, plus pictures showing the area, the showings and some of the higher grade samples are shown on the Silver Spruce website at silverspruceresources.com.

Silver Spruce Reports

Silver Spruce Reports Discovery of New Mineralized Alteration Zone 3.5 km to South of Big Easy Gold/Silver Zone, Eastern Newfoundland

--  Mineralized alteration zone, the ET showing, located on strike, 3.5 km             to south of Big Easy zone         --  similar to Big Easy zone - silicified / sericitized sedimentary units             with disseminated pyrite         --  Limited sampling (3 rocks) gives anomalous values to 125 ppb Au, 3.5 ppm             Ag         --  acquisition of 173 claims to protect southern extension of zone

Silver Spruce Resources Inc. is pleased to announce that a new mineralized alteration zone, similar to the Big Easy mineralized system, near Thorburn Lake in eastern Newfoundland, has been discovered approximately 3.5 km to the south of the Big Easy zone.

Limited exploration on the southern extension of the Big Easy trend resulted in the discovery on a brook of similar alteration/mineralization, mainly silicification, carrying disseminated pyrite in brecciated sedimentary units with quartz veining - the ET zone. Three grab samples gave values of 39, 28 and 125 ppb Au and less than 0.5, less than 0.5 and 3.5 ppm Ag, respectively. The highest value was a composite grab sample. These results are similar to those originally found in outcrop and float on the Big Easy zone.

Arsenic was also elevated with a high value of 152 ppm with the higher gold value. The mineralization occurs over a 50 m area on the brook however it disappears under overburden to the north, south and west. Trend of the zone is approximately 150-160 degrees making the true width of the exposed portion of the zone at least 30 m, open to the west. Seven rock samples were also taken from altered (sericitized, minor silicification) sedimentary units (sandstones to conglomerates) with variable white quartz veining, located 1 to 2 km to the east of the ET showing and 9 stream sediment and 15 soil samples were taken along a northeasterly trending brook, where the ET showing is located, which cuts across the southern claim block and in the area of the sericitized sedimentary units to the east. One soil sample from along the brook, associated with a weakly anomalous As value of 38 ppm (background 5 ppm), gave 15 ppb Au (background less than 5 ppb). No anomalous gold values were found in the stream sediments however As values from 8 to 62 ppm (background 5 ppm) were found in the lower part of the brook. Anomalous Zn (up to 202 ppm) and Co (up to 256 ppm) were found associated with elevated manganese (Mn) values (greater than 2000 ppm) and are considered to be related to Mn scavenging. The bog ponds and brooks are not ideal for stream or soil samples with most giving high Mn and iron (Fe) values related to the boggy terrain which the brook traverses.

The Big Easy mineralized zone is a new gold/silver discovery in an area not previously known to host significant gold mineralization. The zone lies in the Avalon Zone along the northern extension of the Burin Peninsula high sulphidation belt where extensive precious metal exploration is being carried out.

Seven drill holes totaling 1,577 m, the first drilling on the property, tested the Big Easy mineralized zone over an approximate 1 km strike length in May, intersecting strongly altered (silicified/sericitized/chloritized) and mineralized sedimentary units (see news releases dated March 24, April 8, May 3, June 1 and June 7, 2011). The best gold/silver intersection was in DDH BE-11-3 (News Release May 3, 2011), 0.41 g/t Au and 15.4 g/T Ag over 89.2 m from 183 m to 272.2m, including 0.87 g/t Au and 33.5 g/T Ag over 30.5 m from 228 m to 258.5 m, including 2.5 g/t Au and 74.1 g/T Ag over 7 m from 239 m to 246 m, including 6.05 g/t Au and 174 g/T Ag over 1.5 m from 240.5 m to 242 m and 6.04 g/T Au and 114 g/T Ag over 1 m from 245 m to 246 m.

It is not known if the alteration and mineralization extends consistently from the Big Easy zone in the north to the newly discovered ET zone in the south, over a 4.5 km strike length, open to the north and south. Some structural control, as shears, faults and related foliation is noted in both showings, however extensive bog cover with almost nonexistent outcrop exposure makes tracing the alteration/mineralization very difficult.

The company has staked another 173 claims tied on to the southern and eastern boundary of the original Big Easy property to protect the new alteration zone and any possible extensions. The property now consists of 294 claims (73 km2). Regional exploration will be carried out on the new claims in the late summer or fall. All drill data for the Big Easy zone is being compiled to a 3D database to allow modeling of the system for a Phase 2 drilling program to be carried out later in the summer or in the early fall.

The original 121 claim (30 km2) property, located near Thorburn Lake in eastern Newfoundland, was optioned from prospectors Alex Turpin and Colin Kendall. The option agreement, to earn a 100% interest subject to a 3% NSR with a 1.5% buyback for $1.5M, is a total of $110,000 plus 1.6 shares over three years. A yearly advance royalty payment of $20,000 per year, deducted from future NSR payments, is payable from the 4th anniversary on. The second option payment, which was due on April 21, 2011, has been paid. A 2 km area of influence is part of the agreement.

Samples were submitted to the Eastern Analytical laboratory in Springdale, NL. a recognized local laboratory, for analysis by fire assay for Au and an ICP-11 technique for pathfinder elements including As and Sb, base metals and Ag. Values greater than 6 ppm Ag, the upper detection limit for Ag using the ICP method, are reanalyzed if required, by a wet chemical method and an AA finish to give accurate assay values for Ag.

Plan maps of the recent staking and the present land position, the diamond drilling, the IP chargeability and resistivity and a compilation map, plus pictures showing the ET showing, the drilling and drill core from Big Easy, are available on the Silver Spruce website at silverspruceresources.com.

- Native silver / electrum tentatively identified in drill core

- Boiling textures, typical of upper part of an epithermal gold/silver system, noted in drill core

BRIDGEWATER, NOVA SCOTIA --  -- Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSX VENUTRE: SSE) is pleased to update exploration and research activities on the road-accessible, Big Easy gold/silver prospect in eastern Newfoundland. The prospect is associated with a large, altered (silicified) system that covers an area of approximately 1.7 kilometres by up to 300 metres wide. The prospect was drilled in 2011 and 2012, yielding significant gold (Au) and silver (Ag) values in several holes (news releases dated August 16, 2012 and June 7, 2011).

Independent Research Study

Silver Spruce is participating in a collaborative study of epithermal and porphyry-style gold mineralization along the Burin Peninsula high sulphidation belt, which hosts the Big Easy mineralization. Involving Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN), the NL Geological Survey (NLGS) and mineral industry stakeholders, the study is funded by the NL Research and Development Council Geo EXPLORE (2011-13) program. The study will take a regional approach to enhancing the understanding of gold mineralization along this highly anomalous belt, with a view to accelerating the exploration and discovery cycle. The work will involve geological mapping and sampling of select transects through mineralized occurrences, combined with the geochemical geochronology assessment of host rock and the mineralized systems aided by technology at MUN.

Review of 2012 Drill Core

As part of this research, an evaluation of the drill core from Silver Spruce's 2012 diamond drilling program was carried out by Dr. Graham Layne of MUN and Peter Dimmell of SSE. During this examination, native Ag or electrum (native Au with more than 10 per cent Ag) was tentatively identified and boiling textures were noted which were both typical of epithermal systems. Molybdenite as fracture fillings was also noted. A number of samples have been taken for polished section mineralogical analysis and age dating. This work continues and results will be released as received. Commenting on the recent core examination, Dr. Graham Layne, an Associate Professor of Earth Sciences at Memorial University states, "We are beginning a petrographic and mineralogical examination of specific features noted in the higher grade gold/silver intersections from the 2012 drilling program - in particular, the overall deportment of what has been tentatively identified as native silver or electrum. We are also interested in the detailed mineralogy of narrow, crenulate, black, pyrite-rich bands that have been observed with crustiform quartz-adularia in three of the five holes drilled in 2012."

Check Sample Assays

A total of 51 reject samples of core from the 2012 diamond drilling have been shipped to Activation Laboratories in Ancaster, ON for check analysis. They will be analyzed for gold by fire assay, as well as an ICP technique that gives good detection limits for epithermal mineralization-related elements such as Ag, arsenic (As) and mercury (Hg). Results will be announced when received.

Viel Erfolg uns allen. Es wird spannend.

Sehr interessant!
