28 September 2011 Companies Announcement Office Via Electronic Lodgement PENINSULA RECEIVES AIR QUALITY PERMIT FOR ROSS ISR PROJECT Peninsula Energy Limited (Peninsula) is pleased to announce that the Division of Air Quality of the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (WDEQ/AQD) has completed final review of Strata Energy Inc’s (Strata) application to construct the Ross ISR Project, which will utilize the insitu recovery method to extract uranium and produce up to a maximum of three (3) million pounds per year of yellowcake (U3O8). Following the WDEQ/AQD’s proposed approval of the request as published August 11, 2011 and in accordance with regulations, the public was afforded a 30 day period in which to submit comments concerning the application, and an opportunity for a public hearing. No comments were received.
On expiration of the public comment period and on the basis of the information provided to the WDEQ/AQD, approval to construct the Ross ISR Project as described in the application has now been granted pursuant to Chapter 6, Section 2 of the regulations. The issuance of the Air Quality Permit follows a detailed technical review by the WDEQ/AQD of more than a year of baseline air quality monitoring, modeling and data analysis by Strata.
