Kurze Übersetzung: "This can take up to a few weeks" - das heißt: Ein solcher Prozeß kann mitunter einige Wochen dauern. Die Antwort von EPOXY ist völlig korrekt. Üblich sind 6-9 Tage. Ein solcher Prozeß kann aber auch länger dauern. Das ist eine typische IR-Antwort.

Mr. Ahnungslos Raurunter nervt in der Tat.

Kritik mit Hintergrund hat ja Berechtigung, aber hier nur Müll reinzukippen ist witzlos.

Nun, für den interessierten Leser : Was kann da wirklich so lange dauern ?

1.) Die App wird zeitgleich für Android und iOS programmiert.
Dh. man kann zwar Teile des Source Codes verwenden, aber eben nicht alles. Somit müssen mehr oder weniger 2 Versionen der App programmiert und gepflegt werden.

2.) Die App wurde bei Google und Apple zur Prüfung eingereicht.
Wo es nun hängt kann man nur mutmassen, Apple ist generell strenger bei der Prüfung.

3.) Wenn es Nachbesserungen gibt muß man das ev. in beiden Versionen machen

4.) Die neue Version hat - und da bin ich mir sehr sicher - aufgrund der 2 neuen Features eine größere Datenbank Änderung dabei.
Wie die Umstellung genau passiert kann man nicht abschätzen.
Aber ich gehe davon aus das man sowohl Android und iOS Version zeitgleich aktivieren will - darum muß man warten bis beide Versionen freigegeben sind.

5.) SW Development dauert und kann immer unerwartete Probleme haben.

Also, das kann nun mal so lange dauern ....

Ich weiß echt nicht warum hier manche so einen Stress machen,warum es solange dauert.Am besten hätte Epoxy nichts von einer neuen Version gesagt sondern einfach rausgebracht wenn sie fertig ist,dann hätten wir hier einige nervige Beiträge weniger!Erinnert mich irgendwie an die Autofahrt mit Kindern,"...wann sind wir da?.....wann sind wir da?....sind wir schon da?.....wie lange noch?.....

dauert. und besser länger und dann perfekt klappend als dahingezaubert
und nix läuft..... wegen geänderter datenbank oder warum auch immer.
fehlerfreie funktion scheint doch wohl das höhere ziel zu sein!

bei Epoxy handelt es sich ja aber um ein schon 2 Jahre anhaltendes Experiment ...
So langsam merkt man doch, das da nicht die richtigen Leute am Werke sind ...

ein update wo vielleicht ein bug behoben wird, etwas länger, ein update das komplexer ist, halt noch länger, wo ist da jetzt das problem?

Mich wundert es nur weil bei Apple eine Überprüfung läuft und bei Google noch nicht.
Die App soll doch bestimmt gleichzeitig für Android und IOS veröffentlicht werden?
Sonst macht das doch keinen Sinn.

der Börsenwert steht bei erschreckenden 0,017 und die Firma und auch ihre Jubelposter, müssen auf eine "neue Version" hinweisen, noch dazu in irgend einer Zukunft ?
Ist solch ein Gebaren nicht peinlich und man zeigt doch die Unzulänglichkeit der jetzigen Version ?

Hier hängt das eine mit dem anderen zusammen. Ich (als Investierter) finde es persönlich auch immer ziemlich lustig und überflüssig, wenn jede einzelne neue Location gemeldet wird. Kleinvieh macht auch Mist, aber durch eine neue Donut-Bude oder einen Friseursalon mehr wird das Unternehmen nicht wertvoller und es wird auch keine Trendwende eingeleitet. Was Epoxy braucht sind Ketten, das ist klar. Bevor diese aber einsteigen, braucht es eine funktionierende, leicht zu bedienende App. Das ist derzeit der Knackpunkt. Wenn die "neue" App bzw. wie Updates fertig sind, ist das ein Schritt in die richtige Richtung. Daher sind die Erwartungen recht hoch, das ist verständlich.  Aber es ist eben nur ein Schritt, das muss auch klar sein.  

Was das auch bedeuten mag. Kann ja auch sein das die App bei Apple durch fällt.
Das wäre dann unschön und würde den Kurs wieder tiefer in den Keller reißen.
Hoffen wir mal das beste.
Für alle Angsthasen mein rat, erst mal an der Seitenlinie warten.
Kann ja nicht mehr so lange dauern, höchsten 10 bis 15 Wochen.

Nämlich wenn App grünes Licht gibt, dann dürfte sich der Kurs deutlich erholen.
Und so lange bleibt der Kurs noch unter Druck.

wenn die neue version da ist. und vor allem ohne abstürze läuft....
es ist doch wohl klar, wenn alle was erwarten, dann kommt es
sicher nicht. oder?
erst überzeugende kundenzahlen.... locs und user...... und eine
trendwende in den finanz-zahlen..... dann wirds was werden. IMO

Der Kurs spricht eine andere Sprache. Sind eher alle sehr skeptisch.
Unverhofft kommt aber oft.
