Turkcell (NYSE: TKC, ISE: TCELL), the leading technology and communication company in Turkey will support one of the most important sports event of FIFA, the U-20 World Championship, as the national sponsor. While Turkcell will break new ground with its Mobile Ticket application, the Turkcell U-20 trucks which will be travelling around Turkey will add to the excitement of the soccer matches.

Turkcell became the national sponsor of the FIFA U-20 World Championship to be held in Turkey this year. With an 11 year past in soccer sponsorships, Turkcell will provide the technical infrastructure throughout the tournament. Koray Ozturkler, Turkcell Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, stated that: "Turkcell has been supporting the development of Turkish sports since its establishment. We are proud to be supporting the FIFA U-20 World Championship, which is taking place this year in Turkey, and especially our national players. For the first time in its history, the mobile ticket sales of FIFA will be implemented using Turkcell's infrastructure and technologies. I believe that our contributions will bring in positive results and carry Turkcell's technologies to a greater worldwide platform. We wish the best of luck to the Turkish U-20 National Team taking part in the tournaments".

Over the course of the tournament, the Turkcell Mobile Ticket application will be used in the games played by the Turkish U-20 National Team, and during the final match. Soccer fans will be able to enter matches through designated booths established at the stadiums by scanning the SMS message, all thanks to revolutionary Turkcell Mobile Ticket technology. The technology that was previously used for Turkey's National Soccer Team will now ultimately go beyond the national borders and reach an even wider audience. With the Turkcell U-20 trucks travelling around Turkey, soccer fans from cities where the championship will be held, such as Istanbul, Bursa, Antalya, Gaziantep, Kayseri, Trabzon and Rize, will have the opportunity to experience the tournament madness through various related activities, and will also be able to closely get to grips with the Turkcell Mobile Ticket technology.
