WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., July 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- BeesFree, Inc. (OTC QB: BEES), the worldwide distributor and creator  of BeesVita Plus™, an innovative composite food supplement for honeybees that strengthens the bee's immune system and prevents the effects of Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD), announced a new manufacturing agreement with Ledyi Laboratories of Argentina.

With annual production of about 75,000 tonnes a year, Argentina is the world's third largest honey exporter. Similar to the United States, the honey bees are dying due to Colony Collapse Disorder and CCD is a major threat to the Argentinean economy and to food costs worldwide as bee colonies continue to disappear

For the past 35 years, Ledyi Laboratories has been an active producer and exporter of animal food and animal supplements. Ledyi Labs has a sterling reputation for quality control and good manufacturing practices. The company also has an expertise regarding the shipping, approval and regulation of animal food and supplement products throughout South America. The production agreement will include quality control protocols utilizing Ledyi's patent-protected and proprietary manufacturing techniques.

Andrea Festuccia Ph.D., Chairman of BeesFree commented, "One of our largest business opportunities for BeesVita Plus is in South America and that is why this manufacturing agreement with Ledvi Labs is an exciting step for our company at this time. Ledvi Labs maintains the highest ethical standards in quality control while having a unique expertise in the regulation and shipping of a product like ours in South America."

Dr. Festuccia concluded, "The total market opportunity for our product in Argentina is estimated to be in excess of $150,000,000."
