Tricell Announces $740 Million Revenue and $6.7 Million Profit For First Half of 2006
Monday August 21, 10:51 am ET

STAFFORDSHIRE, England, Aug. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Tricell, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: TCLL - News), today announced revenue for the first six months of $740.9 million. This compares to $276.8 million in revenue for the same period in 2005. Profit for first half of 2006 was $6,776,389, as compared to a net loss of $162,038 for the same period in 2005. The increase in revenue is the result of our expanded trading operations, which since June 30, 2005, includes the operations of our wholly owned subsidiary, Ace Telecom. Tricell\'s increased profit is the result of both our expanded operations, our reduced cost of capital, and a one time gain of $3,620,523 realized on net liabilities written off from liquidated subsidiaries.

Tricell generated revenue of $357.4 million for the three months ended June 30, 2006 as compared to $220.5 million for the same period in 2005. Tricell\'s quarterly profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 was $1,769,382, as compared to a net loss of $74,930 for the same quarter last year. The significantly improved profitability in the second quarter of 2006 resulted primarily from Tricell internally financing a majority of its trading activities with cash flow from operations, whereas an external line of credit was used to finance operations for the second quarter of 2005.

Andre Salt, Tricell\'s CEO and Chairman, stated, "Our results through the first six months of 2006 and for the second quarter of 2006 are very satisfying and we look to continue this level of operations through 2006. We plan on building on our base of operations in 2007, including our projected expansion into the United States by the end of the 2007 second quarter. We are continuing to move forward with our plans to acquire N2J, which we hope will allow us to increase not only revenue, but our profit margin."

Tricell Inc. was established in 1999 as a distributor of mobile phones and related accessories to the wholesale markets in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia. For more information, please visit our website at www.tricellinc.com, or the SEC\'s Edgar filing system at www.sec.gov.

VALIANTS SET FOR SHARE OF COMPANY\'S WINDFALL

GRAEME BROWN

15:00 - 01 September 2006

Port Vale has edged closer to a bumper pay day after former sponsor Tricell struck a deal aimed at more than trebling its share price. The club stands to earn at least £131,000 if it cashes in 250,000 shares donated by the Shelton mobile phone distributor, after previous company managers failed to pay a £92,000 sponsorship bill.

It can only sell when the shares rise from their current value of 29 cents to a dollar, but Tricell bosses say they are closer to that after an £890,000 investment from a U.S. firm.

Vale chairman Bill Bratt said if the club was in a position to release the funds, the money could go towards strengthening the playing squad.

He said: "There is no money in the budget for this because it is all pie in the sky at the moment, so we wish them well and when the time comes it is going to be good news for Port Vale.

"We would decide at the time what we would do with the money.

"If the club are in debt off the field, it would go towards that but if we were doing OK and the manager needed the money at the time, it would go on players."

Mr Bratt added: "I would like to see them do well as a local company anyway."

If it materialises, the money would represent a major boost for Port Vale, as it would account for more than three times its total transfer outlay since manager Martin Foyle took over in February 2004.

In that time, the cash-strapped club has spent just £40,000 on players - £20,000 each for strikers Leon Constantine and Nathan Lowndes.

New York-based Barron Partners has taken on 8.5 million shares in Tricell and now has an option to purchase a further 200 million shares based on its performance.

It will take on responsibility for increasing the share price and attracting other investment firms and pension funds to the company.

Tricell said no timescale has been set to reach a dollar, or 52 pence.

However, the company has seen its share price rise from 2.1 pence to 18.5 pence in the 12 months to July. Director John Sumnall said: "We took Barron on board not necessarily for the cash investment.

"We run the business very well but we were weak in terms of relations with the U.S. and couldn\'t get the share price past the 30 cent mark."

"The target has always been to get the share price to more than a dollar and Barron are experts in that field. It is all down to relations with the U.S., which is something that Barron does very well."

He added: "We have a loyalty to Port Vale to make the company perform as well as it can and if Port Vale makes money from that, we will be overjoyed."

Meanwhile, Tricell, which employs about 30 people in North Staffordshire and South Cheshire, announced on Wednesday it had completed the takeover of competitor N2J.

Tricell directors already had a controlling stake in the Congleton-based firm and paid £734,000 and issued 210 million shares as part of the deal.

This comes after the company posted half year sales of £391.2 million last week, a 167 per cent rise year-on-year.

THE UPS AND DOWNS OF FIRM\'S FUNDS

15:00 - 01 September 2006

2001 - Nick and Andre Salt set up Tricell with plans to outgrow the Caudwell Group within 12 months. 2002 - Tricell\'s sales reach £381.3 million, a three-fold rise in just two years of operation, while profits jumped by 450 per cent to £5.28 million.

2003 - New Vale owners Valiant 2001 announce a two-year club-record deal with Tricell, including £82,000 a year to sponsor the shirts and a one-off £10,000 to sponsor the Railway Stand.

Meanwhile, Tricell sees sales fall to £54 million and profits shrink to £87,000.

2004 - Tricell announce a loss of £324,000 for the first three months of the year.

It emerges no payments have been made by Tricell for the first season and Vale announce losses of £504,000 in the first 14 months under Valiant 2001.

2005 - It emerges Tricell has made some payments and the club serves debt notices against Tricell directors Andre Salt, Nick Greer and Jeff Nunn. They pay £105,355 to settle the issue. Burslem building services firm BGC is named the new shirt sponsor.

Chairman Bill Bratt later agrees a deal to take 250,000 Tricell shares as payment.

2006 - Tricell announces a 167 per cent rise in half year sales, to £391.2 million.

Habe bei Raging Bull Folgendes gefunden:
"8/31/06 8-K references 1/8 RS sometime during this reporting period.
It was there plan to get off the OTC and the R/S serves that purpose.

For purposes of disclosure, I liquidated my position a few days ago. I have no opinion one way or the other how this R/S will work out with TCLL; I don't like holding through R/S, been burned too many times before, so I decide to sell and walk away with a profit. However,I'll watch with interest and perhaps take a position again in the future. Good luck."
