Rosh Ha'ayin, September 19(th), 2011 - Wizcom Technologies Ltd. ("Wizcom")
(Prime Standard: WZM, IL 0010830706) today announces it has appointed Larry
Johnson as its US Sales Manager.
 
Prior to joining Wizcom, Mr. Johnson was Director Retail Marketing and Direct
Sales for SRS Labs, a company specialized in advanced audio enhancement, voice
processing, and surround sound technologies.  In his career spanning over twenty
years, Mr. Johnson held various senior sales roles for consumer electronics,
with a focus on home/office products and portable consumer electronic multimedia
and audio products, in North America.  During his career, he built up an
extensive network of distributors, such as Amazon.com, D&H Distributing, Ingram
Micro (US, Canada, Mexico and Brasil), Black Box, Tech Data (US and Canada),
DBL, Synnex/AVS (US, Canada, Japan), Petra Industries, Wynit and Volutone.  In
addition to consumer end markets, Mr. Johnson has also developed important links
to educational institutions.

As for all regions, the US market for people with reading difficulties is a key
focus area.  The US Survey of Income and Program Participation survey shows that
around 1.8% of the population over 6 years old, some 4.67 million people, has
some form of Learning Difficulty and Wizcom's products target a sizeable number
of this group.  Research has shown that the unemployment rate for those with
Learning Difficulty is twice that of those without. Though not the sole cause of
these issues, reading is a major factor in people's development and their
ability to participate fully in schooling programs and subsequently in society.
Many groups in the US therefore put great emphasis on developing people's
reading abilities, with available budgets for assistive technology.
