The Vienna Stock Exchange enjoyed an incredible IPO year in 2019, the most successful year since 2007. Marinomed Biotech floated at the beginning of February, making it the first IPO in Europe. It was followed by Frequentis (14 May 2019) and Addiko Bank (12 July 2019) on the top segment prime market. The Vienna Stock Exchange also launched its SME-segment "direct market plus". It simplifies the listing of Austrian small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and growth companies to the capital market.
