Cushing® Asset Management and Swank Capital Announce Constituent Changes to The Cushing® Energy Index

DALLAS, Aug. 2, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Cushing® Asset Management, LP, and Swank Capital, LLC, announce an upcoming interim change to the constituents of The Cushing® Energy Index (the "Index"). On August 1, 2019, S&P Dow Jones Indices announced that Index constituent Anadarko Petroleum Corp. (NYSE: APC) would be removed from the S&P 500 Index ("SPX") and, by extension, the S&P Energy Index ("SPN"), a Sub-Index of the Index, effective prior to the open of trading on Friday, August 9, 2019. No direct replacement for APC was named. Per the Index's Methodology Guide, after the market closes on August 8, 2019, APC will be removed from the Index and the constituents of the Index will be rebalanced. There will be no constituents added to the Index as a result of this action.
