Zitat Bizreader:
Great, simple explanation of MM's role.
Clearly we need some entity to "make the market" but personal integrity and group integrity must be somehow monitored and guided.
It's a tough call to touch and not touch a free enterprise system but with all the price manipulation here and no explanation other than the powers that be want the price low... when stock holders are the ones who should be telling the market what the price is... there's work to be done on this "free market"!

Actually Biz. As I have said the market will value the stock.. Example... 1.7B X .14 = 238M in Value.. Blackstone is valuing WMMRC at 160M and the Loan was supposed to be 100M = 260M 1.7B X 16 = 272M
About 2 weeks ago , there was supposed to be a settlement we went from .05 X 1.7B = 85M all the way up to .23 X 1.7B = 391M.
That is 391M = 160M Value for WMMRC, 100M in Exit financing and 30M in Litigation reserves. Realistically the pullback was needed to account for the current 1X's value of the reorg as the filed values represent.
Now lets goback to Early March 2010.. We got as high as .70 but steadily help .50 in anticipation of the judge awarding the hold co its deposits back.
So what is 1.7B X .50 = 850M.. The market was valuing WAMUQ pre GSA at or near 850M and let it get over 1B )1.7B X .70 = 1.2B) for some reason.. It was most likely to hike it up to short it, so the shorts could be covered on afternoon March 12th..
If the Hedgies did this, they are guilty of Insider Trading, because they were not only in possession of non-public info, but also architects of the GSA that was announced on March 12th.. Big Problem for them
Explaining that 10 Minutes pre trading of GSA announcement in Court on March 12th, when they took it from .44 all the way to .07 in a matter of minutes. Their traders pulled the trigger too soon because of their greed and stop losses could not work at their preset price..
Someone got a pre-arranged 7M in stock at the bottom in one trade. I wonder if that was the big Stop Loss trade they needed to get down to, to scoop up and then they ran it all the way back up to .23
That will not be easy to explain.. If "it can be proven" they were part of it...We have caught the crooks red-handed!
