zunächst: Opti ist kein Zockerwert, denn in TSX beträgt das Durchschnittsvolum um 2 Mio. Stück pro Tag! Goldman Sachs hat am Ende 2010 1,2 Mio aufgeladen. Moody's verfolgt diesen Wert ständig!

a) Opti ist eine kanadische Ölsand-Firma mit fast 3 Milliarden Barrels Ölsand-Reserve

b) Opti ist im Zuge der Finazkrise sehr unter den Rädern gekommen (von fast 25 $ auf derzeitige ca. 70 $cent)

c) Opti hat ein wertvolles Patent, mit dem man Ölsand auf umweltfreundlicherweise Ölgewinnt, während andere Ölsandfirmen auf ihre Expansionsgenehmigungen wegen Umweltverträglichkeit warten, hat Opti ihre Genehmung schon in der Hand.

d) Opti hat aber einen großen Schuldenberg (ca. 2,6 Milliarden), was für Ölfirma nicht unnormal ist! aus diesem Grund leidet die Aktie (Opti ist eine junge Firme und hat die Start-Up-Phase gerade hintersich gebracht, und die Aussichten sind mehr als gut!)

e) der Buchwert dieser Aktie liegt bei 3,78$, hat Liquide Mittel bis Ende dieses Jahres (also 300 Mio. Cash)

jetzt kommt der Knaller:

der Markt spekuliert auf eine Übernahme von Opti durch ihren Partner Nexen: Nexen hat am 18.01.2011 eigene Chemiesparte für fast 500 Mio $ verkauft, und sagt, sie will künftig auf ihr Kerngeschäft konzentieren!

The order was granted following a meeting of the second-lien noteholders held on the same day at which the plan of arrangement was approved by a majority of second-lien noteholders who collectively hold 99.97% in principal amount of the second-lien notes that were voted at the meeting.

CNOOC Limited anticipates the transaction to become effective in the fourth quarter of 2011, subject to satisfaction or waiver of all of the conditions.

Chinese companies have been accelerating their efforts to acquire Canadian energy resources. The fourth-largest Chinese state-owned oil company, Sinochem, is looking to buy oil and gas assets, according to a Globe and Mail report.

If Sinochem manages follows through, it will be the fifth major Chinese firm to buy Canadian energy resources. In July, China’s largest offshore oil producer, CNOOC Ltd, said that it would buy Opti Canada Inc. for $34 million and some $825 million in debt. In the last two years, major Chinese companies have spent $10 billion on buying assets in Western Canada, though Sinochem reportely has no interest in oil sands or natural gas in northern B.C.


Li Pilong, the asssistant president of Sinochem group, said on Thursday that his company was "more focused on conventional oil and gas, as preferred to oil sands,” and said he was “visiting a number of oil companies to see whether or not we can work together for a kind of co-operation on the energy field,” according to the Globe and Mail.  He was speaking at the Canada-Asia Energy Co-operation Conference, along with Wang Zhen, executive director of the China Energy Strategic Research Institute at China University in Bejing.

das Recht kann man in Venezuela sowieso nicht durchsetzen. ha! ha! ha!

in Venezuela liegt das größte Oilsandfeld der Welt, noch größer als das kanadisch.

da wir diese Oilsandfelder erschließen wollen, ohne das schwere Bitumen nach China zu transportieren, muss die Sache vorort rafiniert werden, und wir nehmen nur das hochwertige zwischen Produkt Sweet Crude. zurzeit ist nur the Methode von OPTI praksixnah angewandt worden. das Patent funktioniert.

dieses Projekt läuft unter Führung von wqiXXX un mir, jetzt sind wir am Ziel.
