"Raises 2022 Revenue Guidance for Comirnaty(1) by $2 Billion to ~$34 Billion ..."
"Comirnaty(1) revenues of approximately $34 billion, which reflects favorable operational updates compared to prior guidance, partially offset by unfavorable incremental impacts from foreign exchange. This guidance includes doses expected to be delivered in fiscal 2022(5), primarily under contracts signed as of mid-October 2022."
"Guidance for Adjusted(3) cost of sales as a percentage of revenues was tightened around the higher end of the previous range, primarily reflecting the increase in revenue expectations for Comirnaty(1). "
Sept-Umsatz USA fließt bei Pfizer ins Q3:
"Comirnaty(1) in the U.S., up 83%, driven primarily by deliveries of the Omicron BA.4/BA.5-adapted bivalent booster, following its EUA in late-August 2022, as well as the granting of an EUA in June 2022 for a primary vaccination series for children 6 months to less than 5 years of age"
Sept-Umsatz EU etc. fließt bei Pfizer NICHT ins Q3:
"Comirnaty(1) outside the U.S., down 86% operationally, driven primarily by a previously announced
amendment to the supply agreement with the European Commission (EC) whereby all doses scheduled for delivery in June through August 2022 would instead be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2022 and similar shifts in scheduled deliveries to other developed countries, as well as slower demand in emerging markets"
Erläuterungen zum "fical year" bei Pfizer:
"(5) Pfizer’s fiscal year-end for international subsidiaries is November 30 while Pfizer’s fiscal year-end for U.S. subsidiaries is December 31. Therefore, Pfizer’s third quarter and first nine months for U.S.
subsidiaries reflects the three and nine months ended on October 2, 2022 and October 3, 2021, while
Pfizer’s third quarter and first nine months for subsidiaries operating outside the U.S. reflects the three and nine months ended on August 28, 2022 and August 29, 2021."
