Enersis Chile Announces Name Change

SANTIAGO, Chile, Nov. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- ENERSIS CHILE S.A. (NYSE: ENIC) today announced that the company has changed its name to "ENEL CHILE S.A." effective immediately. The company's ticker symbol for its American Depositary Shares ("ADSs") and the company's CUSIP number (29278D105) are NOT changing in connection with the name change.  Outstanding ADS certificates will not be affected by the name change and will not need to be exchanged.

The name change was approved at an Extraordinary Shareholders Meeting of the company held on October 4, 2016. All ADS trading, filings and market-related information will be reported under the new corporate name.
