Change in Björn Wahlroos' shareholding in Sampo

Sampo's Chairman of the Board Björn Wahlroos has informed that the company Columba AS, in which he exercises controlling power, has sold 1,688,000 Sampo A-shares to a company in which his children exercise controlling power.

Following this transaction, Björn Wahlroos and companies in which he exercises controlling power own approximately 4.9 million Sampo shares, amounting to approximately 0.9 per cent of all outstanding shares of Sampo plc.
